2 International Student Scholarship Application The Center for International Education office at South Seattle College welcomes all eligible students to apply for the International Student Scholarships listed on this page. Available Scholarships Name Academic Scholarship Application Deadline July 27 (Fall) Feb 1 (Spring) Conditions and Terms Amount Requirements Current F-1 students enrolled in full-time classes (100 level or above) at South. Must have completed at 1 full-time quarter of college level courses at South at the time of application. Have at least 2 full quarters remaining until graduation. Minimum cumulative college level GPA 3.5. $2500 X 1 $1000 X 5 Application form Personal statement Two recommendations South Unofficial Transcripts IEP Scholarship July 27 (Fall) Feb 1 (Spring) Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible. Current F-1 students enrolled in the IEP. Must have completed at least one quarter of the IEP at the time of application. Minimum cumulative IEP GPA 3.0. $1000 X 1 $500 X 5 Application form Personal statement Two recommendations South Unofficial Transcripts Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible. Note: Students must maintain F-1 student status. Students in contract programs are not eligible. Scholarship funds are tuition waiver and no cash refund. Award notice will be sent out approximately three weeks after the application deadline. Award will be applied to two separate quarters.

Be sure to include all required documents indicated on the Requirements section above. 2. Personal Statement: word statement regarding your program of study and how attending South will contribute to your academic and career goals. (Students are advised to visit the Writing Center in LIB 205 for free assistance with their personal statement setting up an appointment for a future date is recommended). 3. Copies of your academic transcripts. 4. Academic Scholarships: Students must submit recommendations from their instructors and/or organization leaders/advisors that have a good sense of your character. 5. IEP Scholarships: Students must submit recommendations from their instructors. By signing below, I agree to the following: I understand and accept conditions and terms of this scholarship application. I am not guaranteed a scholarship award by turning in this application. I understand that I will forfeit my scholarship application or award if I violate the terms of my student visa. All the information provided in this application is true.
