In case any new State or Zonal level competition comes up in the abovementioned categories, then the HODs are entitled to consider them under the eligibility criteria. 5. For All Rounders only participation of a student in a competition will not be considered and no points will be awarded for it.

7 SPORTS SCHOLARSHIPS Our ambition is to foster a passion for excellence in all sports. GAMES: Swimming, Cricket, Football, Roller Skating, Athletics, Basketball, Badminton AGE GROUP: 11 years to 17 years i.e. class VI to XI CATEGORIES: International level player, National & State/Zonal level player DURATION: 1+1: 2 years, i.e. current + coming session NO. OF SEATS: 06 external students per session + 09 internal students: 15 students Eligibility Criteria for External Student: 1. Student representing International / National / State I Zonal level competition for the above mentioned sports from last two academic sessions. 2. Student must qualify in game trials, skill test & fitness test conducted by PE 'department and to be recommended by Sports Committee. 3. 'The student must clear Academic Entrance Test conducted by School with minimum passing marks. 4. Verification of all original documents & certificates of the student will be done. 5. Sports Committee will forward the names of students for Sports Merit Scholarship to the Pro Vice Chairman sir for final selection. Other Conditions: 1. The child who qualifies for the sports scholarship has to participate in all competitions where school team participates. 2. If the child refuses to represent school team except on medical grounds then the scholarship will be withdrawn completely with immediate effect.

8 3. For continuation of scholarship the child must achieve the same achievement based upon which the scholarship was given.

9 4. If the child fails to achieve the same result / achievement for the school team during the period of scholarship, his scholarship will be withdrawn or curtailed. 5. The child must secure minimum 50% marks in school annual examination. If the Child fails in a class then the scholarship will be withdrawn. 6. Continuation of sports scholarship in the third year will purely depend upon Student's performance for last two years and recommendation by Sports Committee. Undertaking from the parents: 1. Parents to give an undertaking that in case his child is unable to maintain performance level according to the sports policy, the scholarship offered will be fully withdrawn. 2. In case of withdrawal of scholarship, full fees will be payable by the student / parent, including admission fee for newly admitted students. 3. The parent will have to attend the meeting in the school to discuss the Sports and Academic performance of his ward. 4. Minimum of 50% attendance to be maintained by the student in the school. 5. Medical treatment or expenses towards sports injury to be borne by the Parents. Benefits of Sports Merit Scholarship: 1. Freeship / Concession in fees as per details in Annexure - I. 2. Remedial or special classes for the players during off season and vacations. 3. Special policy for grace marks in academic results. 4. Attendance will be given for participation in recognized tournaments/ competitions / coaching camps on the recommendation of HOD, PE. 5. Specially designed sports kit & track suit will be given to student. 6. Air fare will be given from School's side for International Level Participation.

10 ANNEXURE - I DETAILS OF SCHOLARSHIP A. INTERNATIONAL PLAYER: Exemption in admission fee - 100% Exemption in Annual Charges - 100% Exemption in Tuition fee - 100% Exemption in Bus fee - 100% Exemption in Registration fee or form The student will have to pay for uniform, books and stationery. B. NATIONAL LEVEL PLAYER: Exemption in admission fee - 100% Exemption in Annual Charges - 100% or 50%, as per achievement Exemption in Tuition fee - 100% or 50%, as per achievement The student will have to pay for bus fee, uniform, books and stationery. C. STATE OR ZONAL LEVEL PLAYER: Exemption in admission fee -50% Exemption in Annual Charges - 50% Exemption in Tuition fee - 50% The student will have to pay for bus fee, uniform, books and stationery. The existing students who are eligible for scholarship at different levels will also get the scholarship as mentioned above. However, the registration fees, admission fee, caution money paid by the student at the time of admission WILL NOT be reimbursed.

11 AWARDS POLICY 1. Best House (Rolling Trophy) of the year - (Weightage for CCA and Sports) Points are awarded for all Inter House Activities conducted during academic session i.e. April to March as per the given table. 1 st Position - 5 Pts. 2 nd Position - 3 Pts. 3 rd Position - 2 Pts. 4 th Position - 1 Pt. On completion of all Inter House Activities covering Sports, Art & Craft, Music & Dance and other curricular activities the Pts. are added and the house scoring maximum points gets the Over All Best House trophy for the year. 2. There will be negative marking for indiscipline or violation of code of conduct of any kind, the final decision will be made by the school. 3. *The child who doesn t attend the school after taking the weekly test due to any reason, (except OD cases) would be marked absent and will not be considered for the Full Attendance Award. IMPORTANT NOTE: In case the student or his parents are unable to attend the Awards Function they are requested to collect the awards & certificates from the school within one week of the Awards Function. Above given criteria/policy may change in keeping with the CBSE guidelines/policy regarding examination system/pattern. Photocopies of Certificates to be submitted by students strictly in compliance with the date announced in school, after which no entries will be entertained.
