2 YEAR 2 NURSING CONCEPTS NUR200 Course Description; This course continues the analysis of the value base of nursing. Historical and current influences on the nursing profession are examined along with implications for the future development of nursing. The student will continue to develop her own self-awareness as a prospective nurse. Opportunity will be provided to the student to ^formulate her own career plan and realize the importance of continuous and professional growth. Course Objectives: 1- Analyz.e value implications of situations in nursing, 2. A-nalyze various situations applying professional standards. 3. Examine the historical development and influence of history on nursing, 4. Examine issues and trends within society which affect the health care system. 5.
