Innovation in health care Health care innovation is more than just the substantive medical development of diagnosis and treatment methods ZGT WANTS TO MAKE HER REGION AN EXAMPLE FOR THE COUNTRY IN THE FIELD OF HEALTH CARE INNOVATION.
Innovation in health care Health care innovation must lead to care that responds even better to the needs and wishes of patients. ZGT takes the initiative and cooperates with patients, professionals and partners. We will make the region an example for the country. We are searching for ways to improve existing treatments. The hospitality concept We are ZGT, wherein patients and staff are the most important things. ZGT thinks that products and services should contribute to hospitality. Also important is the patients ability to choose and to be in control. In addition to our human focus, we also devote attention to the environment and the process of the patient.
Our method Co-makership: together we care Giving the patients if possible the ability to take control of their own treatment as of the first diagnosis. Patients are able to join in the conversation and have a role in decision-making. That is what we call co-makership. ZGT cooperates more and more frequently with other health care suppliers, but also with patients and their immediate surroundings.
Our method Professional ZGT delivers high quality care and offers a safety culture where quality and safety are priorities. We work with an integrated risk management system. ZGT is transparent with respect to results and allows itself to be evaluated by external parties. Professionalism is the fundament of our actions.
Our organization From a traditional hospital to a networked organization A flexible organization requires passionate professionals. ZGT professionals are aware of the high quality and safety demands ZGT makes in terms of health care, and they act in accordance with these standards.
Our organization A networked organization consists of a compact, high tech core hospital surrounded by smaller specialized clinics (focus clinics), like our locations in Almelo and Hengelo. This allows us to respond more quickly to changes in health care. Kernziekenhuis
