7 Committee Staffing Ascension First-Aid Committee Over 200 medical and non-medical volunteers Three First-Aid Stations MD/PA/RN/NP/CNA/EMT/PT/LAT First-Aid Station #1 will be designated as main tent located to the right of the Main Admission Gate near Merchandise Check Tent 7
8 Committee Staffing Volunteer Expectations All First-Aid volunteers are there as guests of Ascension. You represent Ascension at all times even when not working in a tent. All work rules will apply. In the event of a Mass Casualty Incident all First-Aid volunteers should report to the closest First-Aid tent. Do not go to the involved site. No alcohol if you are working or going to be working later that day. Report to Lot N (volunteer parking) at least 30 minutes prior to the start of your shift. Do not leave your assigned work area without notifying the Medical Director first. Any deviation from these policies will result in the immediate cancellation of your credentials. 8

20 EMTrack Intermedix EMTrack Desktop application Unique forms built for US Open 2017 providers Unique Workflows designed for Medical Tent and EMS personnel. Use of the same system allows tracking of patients from presentation to disposition.
21 EMTrack Registration Desk Workflow Patient presents to Med Tent first In EMTrack, Complete New Patient Registration Form and SAVE 1. Provide patient with StatBand 2. Verify Current Location is correct 3. Scan/Enter StatBand ID 4. Scan Driver s License if available 5. If not available: Enter First Name Enter Last Name Enter DOB/Age Select Gender 6. Select Triage Category based upon severity of issue 7. Click SAVE: StatBand ID will disappear to show that patient has been saved. Patient presents to other provider first (Bike/Cart) and is transferred to Med Tent (has StatBand) In EMTrack, Complete Transfer Patient Registration Form and SAVE 1. Scan StatBand 2. Verify Incident is US Open 3. Verify Current Location is correct 4. Click SAVE: StatBand ID will disappear to show that patient has been saved.
22 EMTrack Nurse/MA/Provider Workflow In EMTrack, Select, Complete, and Save the Tx and Disposition Form. Begin on the Chief Complaint tab. 1. Verify that Current Location is correct 2. Scan/Enter StatBand ID 3. Scan/Select Chief Complaint 4. Select Location on Body (if appropriate) 5. Enter Chief Complaint Notes (if appropriate) 6. If Vitals are taken, select the Vitals tab and enter the vitals information 7. Once vitals are entered or if they were not taken, select the Tx and Disposition tab 8. Scan/Enter the provider s First and Last name 9. Scan/Select the treatment provided 10. Scan/Enter the Dosage and if appropriate, the Lot Number 11. Enter Treatment Notes and Additional treatments (if appropriate) 12. Enter Additional Notes 13. Select the Discharge Type (USGA- Discharged/USGA-Referred to Paramedics) 14. Click SAVE: StatBand ID and Notes will disappear to show that patient has been saved. 15. Select Chief Complaint tab in preparation for the next patient

24 Weather Warning/Suspension of Play Weather Warning A Weather Warning may be posted to alert fans that dangerous weather is approaching and they should take immediate action, including exiting all grandstands. 24
25 Suspension of Play Suspension of Play Suspension of play is controlled by the USGA. Occurs with one (1) prolonged note of an air horn, repeated once. Immediately take cover. Volunteers should not leave the championship grounds during a suspension. Follow your Committee Chair s instructions as play may be resumed. Resumption of Play Occurs with two (2) short notes of an air horn, repeated once. 25
