15 Practitioners From a patient point of view it is excellent because the patients have the freedom to live their life I think it is an excellent system. They also like to have the equipment there because if they are unwell outside of monitoring times they can self-initiate a test and that can guide their selfmanagement What People Say Service Users I have been able to take readings when on holiday and to report the readings via internet. I am very satisfied about the way the system is operated. There must be a saving in NHS staff time, indeed in my time, rather than having to attend clinic for INR assessment I believe this to be a very effective way of monitoring the patient providing there is a well trained back up from healthcare staff and not merely a cost cutting exercise
