Since 2014 managing partner. Academic Experience Croydon GP Tutor This was a Postgraduate University appointment and covers full responsibility for the management of continuing Postgraduate Education and Training for all the General Practitioners in Croydon (168 GPs). I had been instrumental in establishing the Croydon GP Link Office, one of the first GP link offices with full funding and support from the Croydon Health Authority. During my term Croydon has become the second largest education district in South Thames region after St George s hospital STaRNet Research & Development network. This was a Regional Office sponsored South Thames Primary Care R & D network. Many collaborative research projects. Individual projects include: "Osteopathic management of acute low back pain." (Awaiting publication) and Patient use of the Internet for access to health care information (Not completed yet) To date GP Trainer. Training of GP trainees (F2, ST1, ST2 and ST3s) on site under direct supervision at the practice. This is a Post-Graduate teaching appointment and comprises training practice attachments of between four and 12 months. It includes educational supervision of trainees for the entire three year period of their training and managing their e-portfolio To date Teaching Medical Students. Medical students from King s College Medical school, London, St George s Hospital, Tooting and Imperial College, London. The practice is the Croydon student organiser Centre for St George s undergraduate students allocated to the Croydon area October 2002 VTS Course Organiser, St George s Hospital, Tooting, London. This was a 16 month appointment designed to establish a VTS SHO training scheme at St George s Hospital in Tooting. I started successfully the training scheme and there are plans to expand it. Clinical Governance Croydon Clinical Governance Lead for 1 Care. I chaired the Clinical Governance Steering group in Croydon and I had been in charge of programme implementation for the whole of Croydon covering all three PCGs. This was superseded by Croydon PCT Clinical Governance Lead for London Region, NHS Alliance. As part of the Alliance s regional development strategy I had developed this new position. Health/Management Experience Croydon Primary Care Tutor. As Croydon GP Tutor I have managed all aspects of Croydon GPs education, and the Croydon PGMC including the GP education funds LIZ and Non-LIZ educational Incentives. I was responsible for managing the administration of LIZEIs in Croydon as well as securing and managing a further educational fund from Croydon Health Authority. (Non-LIZEIs). In total 600,000 of LIZEIs and 250,000 of Non-LIZEIs Founder and Chair of the Central Croydon Commissioning Group. I managed this group which was one of the first national Commissioning pilots leading the way to the national implementation of PCGs. I managed a group of 69 GPs and a 8,500,000 prescribing budget Chair of the Central Croydon PCG. I managed a level 2 PCG comprising 27 practices and 69 GPs To date General Practice Management. I have been the senior partner of my Practice since During this time I succeeded in turning around a small, poorly developed practice to quadruple its size and now operate out of three different sites and to be one of the largest, most advanced and modern practices in South London. In addition we run a community Hospital 30 bedded in-patient ward at

4 Caterham Dene Hospital in Caterham. Since 2014 I have reduced some of my clinical duties and act as the managing partner of the practice General Management experience, MBA, London Business School. This is the UK s and Europe s leading Business School. During my studies I gained wide experience and connections in UK management circles. I also visited and worked in Poland and South Africa. In Poland I gained experience from the emerging Health Care as well as general industry. In South Africa I worked as a consultant for a small biomedical company (Seravac) advising on communications and change management. Finally my Masters dissertation which gained a Merit was on Developing Health Screening in UK General Practice Board member, South West London Workforce development confederation. As a board member of the SWLWC from 2001, I was involved in Workforce planning, Primary Care and Continuous Professional development GP Medical Advisor, South East London Strategic Health Authority. Education and training in GP performance Acquisition of smaller practices, creation of a Primary care provider group. Senior partner of medical group with approx 20 doctors contracted to look after 25,000 patients. Other NHS Alliance National Executive and Lead for London Region. As part of this role I had gained wide National experience in General Practice. I had also participated in formulating Health Policy through the Alliance s regular meetings with the Dept of Health. Finally I have written chapters for the book The Emergence of Primary Care Groups from Rhetoric to Reality which is being currently published by Radcliffe Medical Press. Media/Public Relations Work. Over the period between 1998 and 2003 my different national roles meant that I was involved in a number of media events. These included television documentaries, morning TV and appearances in news programmes. I also had some exposure in radio events and some specific radio media training. Finally I have written articles or featured in articles in professional journals and magazines as well as local and national newspapers Royal College of GPs (RCGP) South London Faculty. Board member Royal College of GPs (RCGP) Greece and Cyprus International Fellow. As part of this role I advised the Royal College on issues concerning Primary Care in these two countries. I had been invited by the Greek Government to advise on Primary Care and speak at an Athens conference in 2008 on this subject.
