2 2 PRTNERSHIP 1) Is there active engagement from the school's overnors, SLT, middle leaders and staff? 2) Does the school have an identified single point of contact (SPOC) in relation to Prevent? National, statutory safeguarding measures have been adpted and implemented by the school. 5 the SLT. 14 EXTREMIST ROUPS IN THE COMMUNITY Is the school aware of the existence of extremist groups in the community and their potential impact on its staff and students? re regular briefings organised with the local Police Prevent Leads in order to exchange information about the potential for radicalisation among the school s staff and students? July In an initial meeting with the PCSO the school was advised of small scale anti-semitic activity within Scarborough. PCSO advised the school to be on guard for any anti-semitic graffiti. The police are following leads of enquiry but none of these are linked with families for the school s students. There is English defence League representation on the Barrowcliffe Estate. This activity has been limited to leafleting and there have been no rallies or marches in the town. gain there are no links to the school s students at this stage. M July
