Students will be able to find out the Health dimension and the role of Community Nursing as the caregiver and the process of maintenance and development of Community Health. b. Students will obtain the necessary training to perform their roles and activities in the field of Primary Care. c. Students will acquire adequate training in attitudes and skills of health promotion, prevention, nursing care and social rehabilitation. GENERAL COMPETENCIES 1. To be able, within the framework of nursing, to give technical and professional care to carers, of the correct needs of these persons in agreement with development of the scientific knowledge in each moment and with the levels of quality and safety that are established by the legal and the deontological norms which are applicable 2. To protect the health and well-being of persons, family or groups, guaranteeing their health and safety. 3. To promote healthy life spans, to promote taking care of each person by themselves and support the maintenance of preventive and therapeutic measures. Competency measuring scale

5 4. To promote nursing care based on the attention to health involving multiprofessional cooperation, integration in the process and continuity in the care of patients. 5. To establish efficient communication with patients, family, social groups, and companions to promote education for health 6. To know and apply the fundaments and theoretical and methodological principles of nursing 9. To understand the function and activities and the cooperative attitude that the nursing professional has to develop in a primary healthcare team. Competency measuring scale To educate, facilitate, and support the health and wellbeing of members of the community whose lives are affected by problems of health, risk, suffering, disease, dependence, and death. 11. To identify the care taking into account the age, gender, cultural differences, ethnic groups, beliefs and values of each patient. 13. EVALUATION CRITERIA: To pass the course will be required: Having surpassed 50% of ALL sections of evaluation Attendance is not mandatory, but self-employment activities will be conducted in the classroom that counted in the final grade. For the second call to overcome paragraphs assessment will be saved, and the student only the part that has failed will be presented, with the teacher who indicate in the case of work, which has to perform.

10 1. Theoretical evaluation: Final Theory test Have a total value of 65% of the course grade. The theoretical evaluation is conducted at the end of the term, through an examination consisting of: - 50 multiple choice objective questions (multiple choice) + / - short questions. - 4 possible answers each. - Bad choice questions answered deducted third one correct answer. Theoretical Test = Hit - (errors / n-1) where n is the number of response alternatives * Students ERASMUS, conducted the written test with the same content and the same day as the other fellow. If at the time of examination followed in ERASMUS situation, they will contact the subject teacher to arrange a test date. 2 Assessment of self-employment: Independent study activities will account for 15% of value of the subject mark. * The ERASMUS students perform activities through VIRTUAL CAMPUS, having the same evaluation criteria as the rest of his teammates. Activities that are not filed within the period prescribed by the teacher will be counted as zero. If it's a face workshop, students will be conducted during the week prior to the examination through individual tutoring with the corresponding teacher. Evaluation criteria will be the same as the other fellow. 3 Evaluation through teamwork. Have a total value of 20% of the course grade. A descriptive work in groups, the health status of a population or a group activity of EPS was performed. * The ERASMUS students performed descriptive work of the health situation of the population designated by their teacher, or other work that sees fit on the health status of a community.

11 In any kind of evaluation will assess the correct use of language. Misspellings, grammatical inconsistencies and SMS language will be penalized with a 0.1 point decrease in offense. 14 The teacher in charge of this group will conduct 6 follow-up sessions and tutoring for 2 hours each. Assessment of skills and abilities will be done through the scheduled practice sessions. In each session the subject will be developed so as to reinforce the work on the skills that each student needs to pass the course. Evaluating contents will be on the exam set in the official calendar for this course. The exam will consist of: - 50 multiple choice objective questions (multiple choice) + / - short questions, worth 80% of the final grade. o Poorly answered questions or deducted third one correct answer. - A job that will cover any subject content specified by the teacher in charge, with a value of 20% of the final grade.
