The physicians will now be able to see these values on the Results tab. Facility: All Clarian Date: Current Other Option for Continuous Aerosols ; Pharmacy Process flow and steps to use Other for Continuous Aerosols: If a medication other than Albuterol needs to be nebulized continuously, there is an option for Other. An example would be the pulmonary vasodilator, milrinone. Pharmacy will still enter the Continuous PowerPlan and add the milrinone medication into the Plan. Respiratory will add in the appropriate task (mask or vent) and then select Other under medication and then enter the med information and rate under Special Instructions. Tasks will fire on the MAR and SPTL/MPTL, similar to what occurs for the continuous Albuterol treatments. December RT Cerner Enhancements FAQ v2.doc Page 2 of 9

Complete the Respiratory to Administer task after the correct modality has been attached in the PowerForm. b. Complete the Resp Med Ordered by Non-RT task and this will complete the order. Addition of Significant Events/New Problems Section to Airway Support, Nursing (including all PeriOp areas, but not ED) A Significant Events/New Problems section will be added to forms with the Airway Support Unexpected Events question. When Self Extubation, Skin Breakdown, insertion site, Trach Change, or Emergent and Unplanned extubation are selected, the Significant Events/New Problems section will activate (open).
