3 Starting point REACH awareness is still too low especially outside EU chemical industry Pre-registration window is very short and thus critical A project was started to pull together ECHA resources to produce a concentrated effort 3

4 Objective Spread our PRE-REGISTRATION MESSAGE to companies, in particular SMEs - to the non- REACHable REACH them by offering practical information, useful support tools, and accessible guidance 4

6 Approach Make available Pre-registration documents, making easy readable publications referring to technical guidance documents Dedicated web-site section, pulling the relevant information together IUCLID 5 pre-registration plug-in to prepare preregistration offline, also bulk pre-registration REACH-IT (pre-)registration module to allow online (pre-)registration 6
