46 ROMAC MISSION To provide specialist treatment for children, from developing countries in the Southwest Pacific, in the form of life saving and dignity restoring surgery not accessible to them in their home country.

ROTARY CLUBS AND ROTARIANS ROMAC can only provide these services because of the generosity of Rotary Clubs and Rotarians ROMAC VOLUNTEERS Administration and operational support Promotion and fundraising activities Patient support finding host families, casual driving, visiting, outings, airport greeters, carers DOCTORS / NURSES / PHYSIOS / HOSPITALS Surgeons and other medical practitioners are extremely generous with their time and their skills Our surgeons and medical facilities are among the world s best Surgeons gain valuable experience, not normally available here, in treating some of the unusual problems presented with ROMAC patients Surgeons use these experiences to benefit our own children

RAWCS is a Rotary Australian Multi- District Program RAWCS is here to assist Rotarians and Rotary Clubs to provide humanitarian support. RAWCS offers an online donation facility to accumulate your funds and tax deductibility for donations.

84 DONATIONS IN KIND - EASTERN REGION DIK PROJECT ASSISTANCE DIK volunteers can assist with transport arrangements including creation of appropriate consignment notes etc For packing of containers for a Club s project it is expected that your Club will provide volunteer teams for the packing, under DIK guidance for safe packing. Sometimes a container will need to be packed for a Club or organisation remote from Sydney, where we will always need Rotary/Rotaract/other volunteers,

Volunteers to assist on working bees to assist in preparation tasks on hospital and education equipment or creation of literacy kits or similar tasks. Drivers with toe-bars for trailers, or can provide a van, or with licences for heavier vehicles to assist with collection of donated goods to bring to the warehouse. (We have access to a loan trailer and garage a RAWCS provided truck.)
