To help ensure the success and satisfaction of all, we must make sure that each franchisee possesses the entrepreneurial spirit, management skills, financial means and dedication required in today s competitive market. 4 THE FRANCHISEE PROGRAM Franchise fee $30,000 plus applicable taxes * Average store cost $150,000 to $200,000 plus applicable taxes * The store cost varies depending on the infrastructure, design and location of the future restaurant. The store cost includes: A support service for the selection of the space The right to use the trademark and trade names All leasehold improvements of the space according to Planet Poutine standards Equipment, furniture, interior and exterior displays Two (2) weeks of training in a Planet Poutine restaurant A team to help you open your Planet Poutine restaurant The use of all Planet Poutine manuals The first inventory order A marketing plan A range of promotional items at your disposal The term of the license agreement is generally 10 years and can usually be renewed for a period of up to 10 years. ROYALTIES In addition to the initial investments, you must make the following payments (plus applicable taxes) ** : Weekly royalty fees representing 5% of gross sales for the duration of the agreement. A marketing fee representing 2% of gross sales for the duration of the agreement. * A minimum of $30,000 of the store cost as well as the total franchise fee must be unencumbered (cash or liquid assets). The remaining amount can be financed through various loan programs offered by financial institutions, provided that the candidate meets the standard requirements for the loan. ** The amount of royalties is subject to change.
