14 Friday, September 14, 2018 CLIF is committed to improving the state of the life science sector by providing a venue for business leaders to discuss the most pressing issues shaping the industry.

15 The Colorado BioScience Institute (the Institute) is a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides education, workforce and career development for life science professionals, companies, students and educators. K-12 Undergrad/Grad/Post-doc Professionals

16 Undergraduate Mentorship Program serving 50 students with 12 mentors volunteering their time this school year. BioGENEius Challenge: Hari Sowrirajan a junior from Cherry Creek High School represented Colorado in the International Challenge with his project: Optimization of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles for Vaccine Delivery. Research Experience for Teachers (RET) program places middle and high school science teachers in bioscience, cleantech, technology and manufacturing companies. Executive Leadership Program with 15 participants annually. Biotech Manufacturing Roundtable kicked off this year and is working on improving the talent pipeline through certificate or Community College Associates program.

17 Staff April Giles, President & CEO April has two children, Ella (13) and Nathan (10). She is a Colorado native and enjoys skiing and rooting for the Colorado Rapids. Jennifer Jones, Vice President Jennifer is a Colorado Native who in her free time, enjoys hiking, skiing and spending time with friends and family. Steve Ambriz, Director of Administrative Services Steve is a serious foodie. He loves traveling and exploring the local cuisine. He is fluent in Spanish and Russian and enjoys flamenco. Tracey Nilson, Director of Partnerships Tracey was born and raised in Colorado. She spends her free time at concerts, snowboarding and keeping her two dachshunds out of mischief. Daniela Blagoeva, Event Coordinator Daniela lived in Bulgaria and South Florida before moving to Colorado. She is an obsessed dog and cat mom who enjoys the local beer scene and traveling. Benn Stebleton, Communications & Marketing Manager Benn is an artist who has sold work across the country. He is also very involved in the local animal rescue community. Meg John, Vice President, Colorado Bioscience Institute Meg enjoys spending time with her family (husband, 2 young children and dog) being outside as much as possible to take advantage of Colorado s outdoor lifestyle.
