5 Horticulture Six fold increase in horticulture production in last 12 years i.e. from 3.6 MMT in to a record production of 22.3 MMT in 2017 Largest producer of Citrus Fruits, Tomato, Garlic, Marigold and Aromatic & Medicinal plants 3 rd largest producer of Floriculture Logistic and Agribusiness hub established in Pawarkheda (Hoshangabad) on PPP basis Dairy Development Milk production increased form 5.50 MMT in 2005 to MMT in 2017, making MP the 3 rd largest producer of milk Veterinary Science University established in Jabalpur in 2009 and State level Veterinary Training Institution established in Bhopal

6 Power Power availability increased to 18,043 MW from 4,673 MW in Aims to take it to 23,000 MW by 2022 Power distribution companies run on commercial basis, regulated by an Independent power regulator 24*7 power supply to household consumers and 10 hours to farmlands 6,450 separate power feeders installed for uninterrupted supply for agriculture Open access facility available to HT Consumers

7 Renewable Energy A 750 MW Solar Power Plant in Rewa Solar Energy available at Rs per unit Only project in India to supply power to an Interstate Open access customer i.e. Delhi Metro 1,050 MW Agar-Shajapur-Rajgarh Solar Project will be World s largest. 400 MW power to be supplied to Indian Railways 3,187 MW Capacity installed through Renewable Sources Total investment in renewable energy received is around Rs. 69,800 crore Rewa Solar Plant Awarded World Bank President s award for Innovation Acknowledged by GoI as Model Project

8 Road Network More than 1,60,000 Kms of road network developed till ,806 kms of National Highways are being upgraded to four lane standards Total length of State Highways is 11,389 kms and District Roads is 20,412 kms Under PMGSY state created 64,000 kms of Village Roads and brought connectivity to 7,000 villages Bhopal-Indore six lane controlled access Expressway to be built Rs. 50,000 crore new road construction projects to be undertaken in next six months Electronic Toll Collection introduced on Bhopal-Dewas Road

9 Irrigation Land under assured irrigation increased from 7.5 lakh ha to 40 lakh ha 18 lakh ha land to be irrigated through Micro Irrigation Narmada water to irrigate land in Malwa region: Narmada Kshipra link project completed in 14 months in 2014 Narmada Gambhir, Narmada Kalisindh, Narmada Parvati projects under implementation Approx. 4.8 lakh ha area between Bhopal and Indore Industrial Corridor is proposed to be irrigated by Narmada link projects

10 Drinking Water Ensured drinking water supply of min. 40 litre/person/day in all 1,28,061 rural habitations and 55 litre/person/day in 1,06,145 (83%) rural habitations Water through Piped Water Supply Schemes provided to 1.98 crore people in rural areas Safe and filtered drinking water to fluoride affected 6600 settlements MP Jal Nigam Maryadit constituted for implementation of surface source based Multi Village Piped Water Supply Schemes 32 Multi Village Piped Water Supply Schemes, funded by NABARD/ Central/State Govts covering 1694 villages (23 lakh population), are under progress

11 Urban Infrastructure and Housing The State is leaving no stone unturned to create Infrastructure for the vast Urban population INR 87,500 crore of Urban Infrastructure Projects planned for the next 4 year Swachha Bharat Mission 22 Towns of MP in top 100 in Swachta Sarvekshan 2017, Indore and Bhopal ranked 1 st & 2 nd cleanest All 378 towns certified as Open Defecation Free Cluster based approach for SWM Waste to energy (72 MW). Six such clusters operational Waste to Compost - 20 AMRUT Provision for Transport, Water Supply, Sewage, Drainage, etc in 34 cities with budgeted outlay of Rs. 6,200 Crore Urban Public Transport Public Transport through SPV at Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur & Ujjain buses in PPP mode in 20 clusters

Kms o 12.38% of India s forest area 30.72% of land is under forests; rich in biodiversity Teak & Sal Major timber varieties and other main Forest Produce Bamboo, Tendupatta, Khair, Mahua, Aonla and Medicinal Plants, etc 8 crore saplings to be planted in ,228 forest committees are formulated for forest conservation Special focus on Eco Tourism, Bamboo Management and Bio Diversity conservation 2.5 lakh Forest Rights Certificates distributed to tribals State has 25 Sanctuaries, 10 National Parks including 6 Project Tiger Reserves

16 Healthcare Continuum of care provided by public & private healthcare facility in the state 35,000 beds in Specialty and Super-Specialty facilities 1,100 specialists and 2,500 MBBS students along with 30,000 Nursing & Para Medical trained personnel added to the skilled manpower base An Effective Emergency Response Grid is in operation by deploying ambulances under 108, 1031, and 100 services Health Investment Promotion Scheme is instrumental in catalyzing investments In 2017, nearly Rs. 300 crore investment channeled in Super Specialty hospitals 2,751 generic drug manufacturing unit with turnover of Rs.7,500 crores Maternal Mortality Rate 230 in 2012 from 335 in 2001 Birth Rate 26.9

20 Skill Development 225 Government and 736 Private sector ITIs, 301 Engineering and Polytechnics and 18 Medical colleges Annual Target of skill training for 7.5 lakh youth In the Career Counselling Scheme, 4.8 lakh benefitted from 24,701 counselling sessions Established Global Vocational Training Institute in Bhopal to train 10,000 students annually Number of ITIs has increased from 159 in 2003 to 1,036 in 2017 Under Mukyamantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojna state plans to train 2.5 lakh youth Under Mukhyamantri Kaushalya Yojna state plans to train 2 lakh women helping them prepare for better jobs As part of the Skill Education and Quality Improvement Project state has received funding of Rs. 1,500 crore

23 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises 4.6 lakh MSME Units provide employment to 13.8 lakh people As per the new MSME policy, Subsidy of 40% for MSMEs on investment in plant & machinery in 5 annual instalments Mukhya Mantri Yuva Udyami Yojna Loans from Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 2 crore are offered under the scheme 5,258 beneficiaries since the launch of policy Start Up and Incubation Policy: Introduced in 2016 MSME Venture Capital Fund: A Rs. 100 crore Self Sustainable Fund

24 Youth Employment Initiatives State has merged employment & skill development departments with the aim of creating the synergy & benefitting youth The Rojgar Nirman Board constituted 68,386 beneficiaries under CM Self Employment Program 2,030 beneficiaries under CM Youth Entrepreneur Plan Benefits to 31,079 beneficiaries in the CM s Economic Welfare Scheme In the self-employment schemes, 3.09 lakh beneficiaries benefitted in which loans worth Rs.13,073 crore were distributed & 8,22,478 youth employed State has set the target of providing employment to 7.5 lakh youth annually

25 Women Empowerment and Child Development Lado Abhiyan: Prevented more than 85,000 child marriages 26 lakh benefited under Ladli Laxmi Yojana 2.1 lakh girls benefitted from Cycle for Girl Child Scheme in last 10 years Distribution of Take Home Supplement Ration to pregnant mothers and infants and cooked food to kids of 3-6 years of age Nutrition Rehabilitation Centers at each development block to fight malnutrition Child Sex Ratio increased to 931 in 2011 from 919 in 2001 Lado Abhiyan - Prime Minister Award of Excellence in Public Administration in 2014 and Commonwealth Association for Administration and Management Award 2016

26 Upliftment of Weaker Sections 61% increase in educational institutions and 279% increase in tribal student enrollments Scholarship to 2.6 crore students of weaker section for school education In the last 12 years, 100 hostels for both girls and boys were started More than 10,000 tribal youth were skilled/trained Upto 50 scholarships each year for study in foreign universities, 140 students benefitted till date Aadhar linked Unique Disability ID cards issued to 1.6 lakh differently abled people Tribal Literacy Rate increased from 41.3% in 2001 to 50.6% in 2011

27 Namami Devi Narmade Narmada is the lifeline of Madhya Pradesh Total Length 1312 kms Total length in MP 1077 kms Narmada Seva Yatra the largest ever community led river conservation campaign in the world It helped to generate awareness, conserve and re-inforce the attempts of rejuvenation of Narmada Narmada Seva Mission conceived with an objective of enhancing greenery, waste management, water conservation, pollution control, optimal use of water resources, etc For integrated development of Narmada Basin 23 departmental initiatives are being coordinated
