10 HIGHLIGHTS IN 2017IN COLOMBIA: Alliances were made with more than 70 entities to develop 73 initiatives. Fundación SURA demonstrated its firm determination for education and employability by signing three alliances with United Way, REDUCA and Alianza del Pacífico. With regards to Quality Education, more than 5,600 teachers from public institutions were trained on leadership skills and competencies of being. 27 organizations which work for culture and heritage conservation, were backed. 1,799 collaborators of SURA in Colombia invested 20,718 hours for community service. We are one of the 80 organizations of RedEAmérica, an initiative that promotes sustainable communities in Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2017, the incorporation of Fundación SURA was formalized in Mexico and Chile to channel social investment in both countries. These two foundations share the same strategic lines of Fundación SURA in Colombia. This year, the Foundation stretched to the 10 countries where SURA operates, using initiatives that improve quality education in the region.
12 EDUCATION QUALITY INVESTMENT LINE 1 Processes that enhance the capacities of principals, teachers and students to increase their skills of being and of doing, which in turn create professional and job opportunities vis-à-vis the dynamics and challenges of each region. An education for life, in which colors, shapes, feelings, physical and intellectual differences are not a basis for exclusion. 47% of total investment in Colombia
13 IN 2017: We project the expansion of the Félix y Susana Program to 70 schools in 11 areas of Bogota, in alliance with the Secretary of District Education. This is our first experience of co-financing a program with a territorial entity. The Félix y Susana Program participated in Hay Festival, leading the discussion with pianist James Rhodes. We documented 786 significant classroom experiences related to educational, coexistence and sexuality practices. We began to assess the impact of the Félix y Susana Program in alliance with Universidad de los Andes. Astrid López, a teacher linked to Félix y Susana, earned the Colombia 2020 Award for her classroom experience in healthy co-existence. During the 2017 Nicanor Restrepo Santamaría Fellowship application process, a total of 2,646 applications were received from 23 departments of Colombia. We assisted 320 teachers from 310 schools of 8 municipalities of Colombia to enhance their skills as educational, administrative and community leaders, with the Transforming Leading Principals Program led by Empresarios por la Educación. 5,880 children, young adults and teachers were trained on the cultural wealth and wisdom of the indigenous people of Colombia using educational material of the Indigenous Ancestral Wisdom Project.

25 2018 OUTLOOK Increase the contribution of social investments in the countries where the Company operates. Confirm our commitment to Education Quality and Cultural Promotion by developing initiatives of our own and in alliance with other organizations. To publish with REDUCA the research entitled Overview of Education in Latin America (Panorama de la Educación en América Latina), a valuable document to determine the focus of our investment in education. To enhance the business skills of the indigenous and African-Colombian population to develop cultural entrepreneurship initiatives. To boost the leadership skills of teachers engaging the competencies of being and of doing, which will reflect on improving the quality of the educational process. To promote knowledge through research, documenting experiences, and exchanging knowledge in projects and initiatives. En el tejido se refleja la historia, las conversaciones y las relaciones... punto de inicio del futuro que se construye a hilo.
