Parties to the MoU having its office at Nelson Mandela referred to as "AIC'IE" or "Project The Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has been formed to focus on enhancing emplovability of the youth through skill and enbepreneurship development. Under its flagship scheme called PRADHAN I\,IANTRI YUVA YOJANA (PI\4-YUVA), the Mirristry intends to educate and equip potential and early stage entrepreneurs across India; connect entrepreneurs to Peels, mentors, incubators; support entrepreneurs through Entrepreneurship Hubs (E-Hubs); catalyse a culture shift to encourage enbepreneurship; encourage entreprelreurship among underrepresented g:roups; promote entrepreneurship amongst lvomen and foster social entrepreneurship and gr,assroots innovations. National Entrepreneurship Resource and Coordination Hub (National E-Hub) is resporuible for implen'rentation and monitoring of the project and would be directly dealing r,r'ith the all stakeholders for execution and monitoring of various activities related to the project. National E-Hub will be reporting the profiess of the project to Project Implementation Committee (PIC). All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is an apex body of Government of India under MHRD and it has launched Student Startup Policy on 16th Novernber 2016 at the hands of Hon'ble President of India. AICTE's Student Start up policy intends to guide AICTE approved irrstitutions to Promote student driven start-ups. The policy aims to identifv the innovation and entrepreneurial potential of students and traruform them into start up entrepreneurs by developing an ideal cntrepreneurial ecosystem and promoting strong interinstitutional partnerships among teclurical institutions, other ecosystem enablers, different stakeholders, programs, market and socieby. Areas of Cooperation To protnote entreprenerirship and adclress the expectations set fortlr bv this MoU, the follol.ving areas of cooperatiorr have been idenhified, to be pursued over thc period of validity of this N4oU: 1. To encourage and promote each other's policies and pxrgrams related to student A innovation and entrepreneurship in various public forums where ever possible. To supporl each other by extending their respective institutional expertise in temrs of technology, knowledge, and managenent aspects towards strengthening India's entrepreueurship ecosystem. To share the best practices and provide access to resources and knowledge repository on request within the institutional capacity for the better design of nerv programs and policies in the area of entrepreneurship in India. To conduct joint outreach. awareness activities and loundtable discussions in the arca of oommon interest to encourage student stafiup progranls / policies across the country. To work together to co-design new programs for policy and program intervention in the line of supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in technical education in India. To facilitate recognition of Entrepreneurship effofts in AICTE institutions by means of a. Recognizing student innovations and startups during PM-YUVA events. b. Recognition of PM-YUVA program by virtue of credit scoresiinternship status 3. Roles & Contribution of Parties 3.1 MSDE : To support the above and activities identified as a part of areas of cooperation, MSDE - will facilitate necessary support to the projects ancl initiatives of AICTE as outlined in this MoU tluough PM-YU!'A Yojana and its other irdtiatives. 3.2 National E Hub : MSDE, through National E-Hub, will also facilitate timely, ongoing insights ancl consultations arld guidance on behalf of MSDE, PM-YUVA for rightful implementation of the identified agenda. 3.3 AICTE, as the Project Paltner, will facilitate participation with knowhow and research support to ensure that the activities and initiatives of N4SDE under PM- YUVA and other programs are propagated arrd incentivized for maximum output

Miscellaneou s Provisions 5'1 'l'his MoU, is [rot a legally bincling clocument, ancl prescribes bloac] framework regarding nature of cooperation between lvlsde &AIC'IE (Pr.oject parhrer) to support the e'treprenenrship relatecl objective of l\4sdll (pl\{-yuva). 5'2 Tl-ris MoU, atld any subsequent agleement uncler this MoU shall not be deemed to create a parhrership, joint ventur'e or agencv relationship between the par.ties. 5'3 f'i-re usc of the nante, logo, branding, arrd/or official emblenr. of either parties oll a1v publicatior-r, document / eleckonic media / rveb etc., or in aclvertisements, promotional literatures etc., is allon'ed orily, after seeking explicit prior per.mission in writing of the o\ rner parq/, and in rightful rnaltner - r.r'ith aclherence to due guidelines as provided bv the concerned party and only for the saicl purpose. 5.4 General Provisions of the MoU, stays indepenclent of any existing or future agrecment. This MoU does not affect or supersede any existing or future agreements or arrangements among the Parties and does not affect ttre ability of thc Parties to enter other agreements or arrangements related to this N{oU. Any further agreements in contribution and collaboration as identified in the MoU, will work uncler the broad provisioru and framework provided by this MoU. 5.5 Any other matter that is not included in the VIoU that is necessary for the srnooth implementation of the stated agenda shall be finalized through mutual consultation between MSDE and AICTE, and approved through the concerned governing bodies as established to oversee the MoU related initiatives. 5.6 Any change to this MoU, including change in intent as outlined cannot be undertaken without written consent of, and duly signed by all the parties. Any addition, deletioo alteration to the MoU may be effected with the written agreement of the parties to this MoU, and shall form addenda to this MoU, and be deemed to be part of this Iv'foU. 5.7 Con-fidentiality: Parties agree that aly proprietary and/or nonpublic information will not be disclosed, utrless such disclosure is basis appropriate conjidentiality disclosure agreements or to the extent such disclosure is permitted by law, or in limited manner to the extent & purpose of servicing the l\4ou through agreement and coruent.
