3 INTRODUCTION Global Entrepreneurship Week is an international celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups and bring ideas to life. Kansas City is a premier location for GEW and offers a wide range of events for any type of business and entrepreneur. In 2016, there were 12,000+ attendees at 100+ events throughout the week. This year marks the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week and we are looking to make it even better. We want Global Entrepreneurship Week to be free to attendees to encourage open flow conversation and accessibility. Generous support from sponsors and donors will allow us to achieve this goal. We offer an array of sponsorship opportunities to better engage the entire community and to help leverage the talents, skills and capacities of all. We also accept charitable donations to help build our community of entrepreneurs and promote Global Entrepreneurship Week. 3
