2 Why is there a briefing? The briefing is designed to provide the potential PA applicants with an understanding of the PA process and the record keeping they will need to maintain to receive reimbursement. Applicant Briefings are scheduled and facilitated by the State.

3 Who should attend? Department Heads Emergency Management Coordinators Finance Representative Chief Elected Official for each Jurisdiction Each Eligible Applicant MUST attend an Applicant Briefing The Declared County is responsible for notifying potential applicants of the Applicant Briefing

4 Who is an eligible sub-recipient? State Agencies and Authorities Local Governments Indian Tribes or Tribal Organizations School districts Special district or regional authorities Private Non-Profit that provide services of a governmental nature

5 Local Governments Towns, Cities, Counties, Municipalities, Townships Local Public Authorities Councils of Governments Regional and interstate government entities Agencies of local governments Note: Each entity must apply and represent itself A town or city cannot be represented by the county An ISD cannot be represented by the town
