1 Who can enter? Pool Design Contest is open to all qualified architects, pool designers, landscape architects worldwide. Only projects realized after 2012 are eligible. The concepts may be carried out individually or in groups, with no restriction regarding the number of the members of the team. In case of presentation of projects realized by a group, the team leader will have to be mentioned as in case of prize award, he/she will be the person invited to the awarding ceremony. The number of projects to be presented by a single participant or a team is unlimited. No fee or other payment will be required for entering projects. Deadlines : The contest starts on October 15 th, 2017 The submission deadline is May 15 th, 2018

2 5 categories of awards : - The most beautiful residential pool - The most beautiful tourism and leisure pool - The most beautiful public pool - The most beautiful renovated pool - The most innovative pool Only the jury will define the category in which the projects will compete. The 5 award winners of each category of the Pool Design Contest will be exhibited on a dedicated on the trade show Piscine Global Europe 2018 area (Pool Design Gallery), as well as the 2 nd and the 3rd ranked in each category. The scenography of this area and the information (texts, photos ) displayed will be chosen by the organizer of the show Piscine Global Europe 2018, GL events exhibitions. By submitting one or several applications, competitors accept to have their projects, with the informations they provided, displayed on the websites, the social networks and the dedicated area on the shows of the network Piscine Global. The application must indicate the information listed below : - Name of the project - City and country of construction - Year of construction - Name of the practice - City and country of the practice - Name of the person in charge of the project - Contact details of the person in charge of the project ( , phone, address) General description of the project (text restricted to 1500 characters without spaces in English and/or in French). This text might be used as the description of the projects on the communication tools. Photos of the projects (quantity: min. 3 photos)

3 Explanations about the specific contributions of the projects in terms of trends and/or innovation: design, shape, integration in the landscape, concept, etc. (Text restricted to 1500 characters without spaces in English and/or in French) Technical description of the project: innovative materials and operations chosen, suppliers information, etc. (Text restricted to 1500 characters without spaces in English and/or in French) Description of the practice in charge of the project (text restricted to 1500 characters without spaces in English and/or in French). This text might be used as the description of the projects on the communication tools. The judges will pay special attention to the technical and aesthetic aspects of the projects and be looking for pools with the widest possible range of uses in different geographical and climatic contexts. Only completed projects will be considered by the jury. After jury deliberations, the winners will all be contacted by . 1st rated in each category The winner of each category will be invited as VIP on the Piscine Global Europe 2018 show to receive their trophy at the Awards ceremony taking place in Lyon, FRANCE, from November 13 to 16, The travel expenses for one person (economy return flight and accommodation for one night) will be offered by the organizer of the show, GL events Exhibitions. - Presentation of the project hightlighted on a Pool Design Gallery dedicated area on the show Piscine Global Europe Presentation on the websites of the shows network Piscine Global (Piscine Global Europe, Piscine Global Asia, Piscine Global Middle East) - Presentation and/or citation as part of the press relations of the Piscine Global Europe Publication in the exhibition guide of Piscine Global Europe 2018 show

4 2nd rated All the 2 nd rated of each category, will receive a VIP invitation for the Piscine Global Europe 2018 show, that takes place in Lyon, FRANCE, from November 13 th to 16 th, They will be invited at the Pool Design Awards ceremony. - Presentation of the projects hightlighted on a Pool Design Gallery screen on the show Piscine Global Europe Presentation on the websites of the shows network Piscine Global 3rd rated All the 3 rd rated of each category, will receive a VIP invitation for the Piscine Global Europe 2018 show, that takes place in Lyon, FRANCE, from November 13 to 16, They will be invited at the Pool Design Awards ceremony. - Presentation of the projects hightlighted on a Pool Design Gallery screen on the show Piscine Global Europe Presentation on the websites of Piscine Global exhibitions All other competitors All architects who have submitted a project in the Pool Design Contest will receive a free entrance to visit the Piscine Global exhibitions.

5 The Competitor expressly authorizes GL events Exhibitions to take photos of himself during the contest and use any shots representing himself, its pool and its project, including the photos and the text provided in the Application Form, its trademarks, logos (hereinafter referred to as the Image ) whether provided by the Competitor or taken during the Piscine Global Show. The competitor authorizes GL event Exhibitions to copy, edit, adapt and broadcast the Images in whole or in part through any and all communication media and network used within the Piscine Global Show including during the Show on a dedicated area, on the website, smartphone application, social media dedicated to the Show if any. This authorization is valid worldwide, from the day GL events Exhibitions receive the Application Form from the Competitor to the Pool Design Contest, and for a duration of 6 years. In this regard, the Competitor declares and warrants that it is the exclusive holder of the rights attached to the items referred to in the Application Form, including the Pool, the Photos and the Text, thus, that it has all the rights and authorisations necessary for the consent granted herein to GL events Exhibitions, in default of which it is invited to give specific prior notice to GL events Exhibitions or to hold it harmless of any claim that may be brought in connection with the use of the above-listed Image; In case of any claim, the Competitor (1) agrees GL events Exhibitions withdraw any contested Image from any media dedicated to the Show and (2) undertakes to immediately propose new Image to GL events Exhibitions compliant with the above general conditions. In accordance with the French Personal Data Protection Act No (the "French DP Act"), the Participant has the right to access, correct, rectify and to delete data pertaining to him, which he may exert beside GL events Exhibitions.
