10 SBPIN - About Increase the capacity of local actors in international cooperation Provide training by participating in a number of international workshops focusing on blue / green growth and age-friendly (inclusive) cities. Content will be connected to the practice, when specialists work their EU-coordinators together in a common international process.

12 SBPIN - About The activities are centered around three main themes: 1. blue growth (SE), 2. green growth (DK) and 3. Inclusive and Innovative cities (PL). The workshops (2) will be organized focusing on each theme. Total ca. 30 participants / 7-8 representatives per country. Partners are responsible for the one theme each.

16 Workshop 1 Blue Growth April 18-20th, Krinova, Kristianstad We had several objectives of the workshop: Initiate and stimulate cross-border discussions Define challenges based in the pre-noon presentations and inspirational talks of each participating community. Re-work the challenges Discuss, define and frame potential solutions into topics Suggest further actions to be taken within the SBPIN towards valueable solutions.

Three specific themes: - Waste to resource challenges and possibilities related to a circular economy - Strategic energy planning - how to use renewable energy in the production of heat and electricity - Sustainable urban planning - new ways of planning urban areas

Innovative local governments and inclusive cities - civil society, NGO activities and forms of support - Can a local government be creative? - education of self-governments - innovation and creativity in self-governments; - Longlife learning - quality human resources (human capital) 2. Age Friendly City - urban development planning taking into account the interests of all population groups - including seniors. - Social inclusion 3. Nothing about us without us - young people and activating young people in local actionss; - Use youth potential in local development - Uneployment/enployment issues
