2 SPE Student Chapter is going to organize a Student Poster Competition sponsored by ICPE. General Information: Poster Size Group Member Poster Format : A2 (Width*Height=16.5*23.4 in) (Approximate) : Maximum 3 Members per Group : PowerPoint / pdf Prize and Certification: 1 st Prize: 3000 BDT 2 nd Prize: 2000 BDT 3 rd Prize: 1000 BDT All Participants will be given certificates for participation. Poster Topics : Petroleum Field related topics. It may include but not limited to following topics: Automation/ Data Management Carbon Emission Data Processing Decline Analysis Drilling and Completion Effluent Treatment & Disposal Environment Aspect/ EIA Energy EOR/ IOR Economic Analysis LNG/ LPG/ GTL Technology New Tools & Technology Offshore Technology Oil/ Gas Processing Pipeline Engineering Production Technology & Management Project Management Field Management Flow Assurance Formation Damage Formation Evaluation Geological Modeling Health, Safety & Environment(HSE) Integrated Production Management Mining Property Evaluation Refinery Reservoir Characterization Reservoir Management Reservoir Simulation Seismic Data Acquisition (2D / 3D) Or interpretation Transmission & Distribution of HC Well Control ** The poster should be prepared according to the configuration fixed by the Conference Committee**

3 There will be a panel of judges who will review the abstracts of the presentation during the conference. Their decision will be the final one. How to Apply Interested students would require to fill out the registration form (visit along with a forwarding letter from their respective Head/Chairman of the department for participating the competition Abstract and final version of Poster should be submitted at submit@icpe-buet.com. Please mention the phrase Poster Presentation in the subject Our Conference Program committee will review the applicant s abstracts After confirmation the students have to submit their final presentation within the deadline The participants have to print the poster by themselves as evaluation will also be done on presentation of the poster. Deadlines: Submission of Abstract : 31 st October, 2016 Submission of full Poster : 15 th November, 2016 (if accepted, PDF version) Poster presentation : 31 st December, 2016 *The participant will receive confirmation within 30 th November, 2016.

4 Abstract Content STUDENT POSTER A proper review of your abstract requires that it contain adequate information on which to make a judgment. Written in English and containing a maximum of 200 words. Early submission is particularly important to ensure that the committee members have enough time to review the abstracts. Copyright When receiving the soft copy of the poster presentation, we assume that the corresponding authors grant us the copyright to use the document for the brochure. After the presentation is over, we will not use the document further without permission of the author. Registration Fee After getting selected, applicants will be contacted by the organizers through and initiate further registration procedure. The students must register his/her name within the deadline after getting confirmation to participate. Per student : 500 BDT
