2 INTERNATIONAL 3-5 MAY 2017 PULLMAN CONGRESS AND TRADE CENTER İSTANBUL / TURKEY WE INVITE ALL STAKEHOLDERS OF R&D ECOSYSTEM International R&D Summit and Fair will be organised in order to establish scientific and trade collaborations between instutitions, and persons, to expand national and international awareness for services and activities performed in the light of development goals of country, as government, universities and private sector being in the first place. The aim of the fair is to inform other parties for activities performed, by gathering industrial organisations, universities and government institutions as fundamental players of R&D ecosystem, and to establish collaborations. In the scope of Summit and Fair, the aim is to: Represent R&D activities performed in Turkey, Increase interactions between government, private sector and universities in R&D, Develop international academic and scientific collaborations, Create awareness, and to form a platform for sharing information and commercial information in priority issues such as commercialisation of R&D. During panel discussions held by participation of senior representatives from universities, government and private sector, concrete proposals such as the direction of R&D activities performed in this respect world-wide, which direction should Turkey follow, and development of policies to be implemented and collaborations between players will be discussed. In the stands devoted to private sector as universities, governmental research infrastructures and private sector R&D centers being in the first place, a fertile environment shall be prepared for them in order to represent their activities, to ensure establishment of collaborations in the scope of strengthening of ecosystem. Small convention facilities will be allocated for the concerned persons to make collaboration meetings. We invite all stakeholders in the ecosystem to this international event, which will be the main platform of R&D activities we consider as main milestone of future of our country. 4 INTERNATIONAL ABOUT INTERNATIONAL R&D COOPERATIONS SUMMIT This is a series of panel discussions and workshops for three days, with the aim to gather all stakeholders of R&D activities in Turkey, experts of national and international sector as speakers, and to establish concrete collaborations. In the panel discussions, privileged R&D issues shall be discussed in the scope of 10 th Development Plan. New trends and approaches, financing and commercialisation, policies exclusive to developing countries, fundamental sciences, health, manufacturing, internet, aeronautics and space, energy, new materials, agriculture and food, automotive, transportation, green technologies are issues to be primarily discussed during panel discussions.
