(a) Date of Commencement for submission of online applications = (b) Last Date for submission of online applications = Total Number of s advertised =378 A Online applications are invited from eligible cidates for participating in selection process for State, Divisional District cadre s shown against code No s mentioned in Annexure, A-1 to A-8 to this notification who:- Are Permanent residents of J&K State. (i) It is reiterated here that in respect of Divisional/District cadre s only those cidates belonging to concerned Division/District can apply. However, cidate belonging to SC category shall be eligible to apply for said reserved vacancies irrespective of ir residence in concerned District or Division. (ii) A person shall be deemed to be resident of a particular District or Division if he/ she has resided in such District or Division as case may be for a period of not less than 15 years before date of applying for a particular is actually residing in said area. (iii) If a woman marries outside her District/Division, period of residence of 15 years shall not operate as bar for applying to a provided that her husb has resided in that District/Division, as case may be for a period of not less than 15 years. (2) Are having age as on not:- (i) below 18 years; (ii) above:- (a) 40 years in case of Open Merit. (b) 43 years in case of SC / ST/ RBA/ ALC/ OSC cidates. (c) 42 years in case of physically challenged cidates. (d) 48 years in case of Ex-Servicemen. (e) 40 years in case of cidates in Government Service/ Contractual employees; (3) Are in possession of prescribed academic / professional / technical qualifications fulfill all or eligibility conditions wherever required as shown against each /item in Annexure by or before last date of receipt/submission of application forms i.e (4) Have deposited fees of Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four hundred) in any of branches of Kashmir Bank in account number specified printed on payment e-challan only. Who are eligible for applying for more than one are required to apply separately for each. B The necessary instructions regarding filling up of online applications are given herein below:- i. Cidates are required to apply online through jkssb website or means/ mode of application will be accepted.
2 ii. iii. iv. Applicants are first required to go to jkssb website click on link Online Application. Applicants are advised to check ir eligibility for a particular / No by clicking on / No name before applying online. Cidates can apply online by clicking on apply button shown on jkssb website All fields in online application format should be filled up carefully. v. On clicking apply button an instruction window is shown. Cidates should read instructions carefully before clicking on proceed button at bottom of webpage. vi. vii. viii. ix. On clicking proceed button system asks for cidate s personal information including name, far s/husb's name, category, dob, gender, marital status, contact information, -id, qualification details, or relevant information. The cidate is required to upload images of recent photograph, signature thumb impression specimen. Images to be uploaded should be only in (*.jpeg,*.jpg). Size of photograph (passport size) must be between 20kB to 50kB. Size of signature thumb impression must be between 10kB to 20kB. Click on submit button at bottom of page, it will display all facts/particulars that you have mentioned on entry time. If you are sure with filled details n click on respective button to finally push data into server with successfully submission report that you can print. Orwise you can modify your details. Cidates cannot edit ir application after submission. x. A registration slip is generated where you can find your 13 digit application number, 10 digit username link to print e-challan application form. xi. xii. xiii. xiv. xv. xvi. xvii. On completion of above step your account is created regarding which an is sent to specified while filling application form. Cidates can access ir account by logging in to ir respective accounts. Cidates should ensure that ir personal id (as specified in online application form while applying for any ) is kept active during currency of a recruitment project. The cidate should take a printout of fee payment challan. Cidates can deposit fees of Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four hundred) only in any of branches of Kashmir Bank in account number specified printed on payment e-challan only. Go to nearest Kashmir bank branch with fee payment e-challan pay, in cash. Obtain cidate s counterfoil copy of application fee payment e-challan duly aunticated by bank with (a) branch name & code no (c) date of deposit filled by branch official. Cidates are also advised to keep a photocopy of fee payment challan with m. xviii. xix. xx. Submission of fee payment challan shall not be accepted / entertained after cut-off date fixed for advertisement notification. Cidates should not submit a printout of application / fee payment receipt (cbs challan) to jkssb at this stage. Please note that above procedure is only valid procedure for applying. No or mode of application or incomplete steps would be accepted such applications would be rejected.
3 xxi. The application printout along with fee payment receipt required copies of documents should be kept ready for submission if shortlisted for interview. (5) The in-service cidates/contractual employees shall submit photocopy of filled online application form through proper channel viz. concerned Head of. In event of failure of cidate to route application through proper channel, his / her eligibility shall be assessed as if he / she is not an in-service cidate. The Head of concerned shall forward application form of inservice cidates to office of Administrative Officer, Services Selection Board of concerned Divisions/Secretary Services Selection Board, Central Office within 30 days after last date of filing of applications i,e (6) The last date for submission of online application forms as prescribed above shall be cut off date for determining eligibility to apply for. The age limit, however, is determinable with reference to 1 st of January, Any qualification/ experience acquired reafter i.e shall not be taken into account for any purpose. (7) The prescribed qualifications reflect bare minimum requirement of job mere possession reof shall not entitle a cidate to be called for written test/ interview also grant weight-age to higher qualification in relevant line/ discipline as may be decided by Board. (8) The degrees/ diplomas obtained through distance mode which are in consonance with Govt. Order 252-HE of 2012 dated shall be entertained subject to terms conditions mentioned rein. (9) Call letters shall not be issued individually; however, Board shall give wide publicity through print electronic media, official Website ( of Board about venues, dates of written test/ interview for information of eligible cidates. No claim of being unaware of dates/ schedule for written test/ interview shall be entertained. (10) The cidate must produce original qualification/ category certificates/bonafide certificates in case of qualifications obtained outside J&K State before Committee constituted for oral test or as when Board may call such documents so that ir eligibility for participation in Physical/Type/Written Test/interview is verified. Any cidate who fails to produce relevant original documents/ testimonials on scheduled date shall not be allowed to appear in written/ oral test. (11) No TA/DA will be paid for participation in interview/ test. NOTE: (i) The horizontal reservation for Ex-Serviceman Physically Hicapped persons to extent of 6% 3% respectively would mean reservation which would cut across vertical reservation persons selected shall have to be placed in appropriate category by making necessary adjustments. In respect of Physically Hicapped persons reservation shall be available only for services, s type identified for purpose by competent authority under provisions of Kashmir Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunity, Protection of Rights Full Participation) Act, 1998 to extent specified rein read with Govt. order 1470-SW of 2014 dated (ii) The horizontal reservation to extent of 6% of available vacancies shall be provided to Ex-Serviceman against such s only where maximum of pay scale does not exceed Rs /- (pre revised).
