The maximum amount of the financial grant is determined in accordance with the provisions of the program and specified in the contract between the County and the company. For qualifying capital investment by new or expanding industries, the financial grant incentive is calculated based on the prevailing property tax rate at the time of contract execution and paid direct to the company over a 5 or 7 year period. The minimum capital investment threshold is $1,000,000.
