3 Kiwanis Club of Montgomery Founder and Presenter of the Alabama National Fair & Agricultural Exposition The Alabama National Fair is presented by the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery. Its members and their spouses put some 5,500 hours of work into the Fair each year. This work enables the Kiwanis Club to raise funds for youth and charitable projects. The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery has contributed over $7 million from Fair proceeds to youth, education, and charitable projects. The Fair has also paid out over $2.6 million in prize money to Fair competitive winners over the last 61 years. The Fair maintains police and fire protection through the cooperation of our fine city, county, and state agencies. City, County, and State Health Officers are on the grounds and have made our Fair a model for other fairs to pattern after. This great extravaganza, in a wholesome atmosphere, is possible only through the support of our wonderful: sponsors, media, friends in government, businesses, schools, civic organizations, and churches. The Alabama National Fair and the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery sincerely appreciate your interest and participation in the Fair.
