1 OGDCL PAKISTAN: OIL & GAS DEVELOPMENT COMPANY LIMTED OUTREACH ACTIVITIES ORGANIZED BY IBA KARACHI IN DIFFERENT DISTRICTS OF KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA (KPK) FROM FEBRUARY 28, 2016 TO MARCH 9, 2016 IBA Karachi had organized the outreach activities with the help of OGDCL Pakistan, Project Management Unit (HED) Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Meezan Bank Limited. We have conducted the awareness sessions with the aim to visit each districts and encourage the talented & deserving students of HSSC Level-I and HSSC Level-II and to brief them about career making opportunity provided by OGDCL Pakistan and IBA Karachi in the form of OGDCL Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Talent Hunt Program. We are pleased to share that we have successfully organized 18 awareness sessions in the major colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from February 29, 206 to March 9, During this trip, we have targeted 6 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 1. Peshawar 2. Nowshera 3. Kohat 4. Karak 5. Bannu 6. Lakki Marwat The main objective is to create awareness among the talented and deserving students of Matric, HSSC Level-I and HSSC Level-II, who are facing financial constraints but are talented students. We the team members, have conducted 18 awareness sessions in different colleges simultaneously to cover maximum colleges and gave them a brief introduction about the IBA Karachi and OGDCL-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Talent Hunt Program with the focus on the enrollment procedures of IBA through the KPK-THP Program Batch We have also shared different success stories of our existing students who are currently enrolled in different programs at IBA Karachi. The logistics, management of the sessions and coordination of the program was carried out exceptionally well by the OGDCL Pakistan, Meezan Bank Limited and the Project Management Unit(HED), Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team members. Without their zeal and support for the cause and their help in the execution of the program, we would not have been able to reach so many target audience and had the chance to offer meaningful opportunities to the talented students of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We shall continue to work towards creating its impact in our society, especially in the domain of education.
