2 Outpost Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Ridge Ave., Manasquan, N.J st Quarter 2014 Message from our Post Commander - Mark Pawlak Greetings from Deep Freeze! It has been a brutal winter here at the Jersey Shore but it has been nice and warm inside the V. We had an outstanding Christmas party with secret Santa, our TV Super Bowl drawing by our Auxiliary and Polish Night which was a big hit. Now with winter winding down, we are gearing up for our busy summer season. We start with our Memorial Day Parade followed by the VFW convention. I hope many of you will attend. Bud Atno will be the point of contact again. Our building project is well on its way. We will soon be starting on the interior. Keep an eye out for us to start using it by our Annual Picnic. Finally, our Post Elections are here again on 5 April and I hope that many of you will attend. I am excited for our post outlook for 2014 and hope to see all of you at our VFW. Meetings at our Post are scheduled for the first Saturday of each month at 10:30AM. Please attend these meetings. District Meetings are scheduled as follows: 18 March Our Post 16&17 May District 6 Convention Election of District Officers Post Davern Avenue, Hazlet, NJ Our Mens Auxiliary 2nd Monday of each month at 7PM I would like to start off by thanking all Auxiliary and Post members for their support in the past. We are the best Post in New Jersey and the U.S. This year we will be hosting our 24th annual Golf Outing. Sign-up sheets will be posted in May. This event has always been a success. Lets keep it that way by participating and helping out. Election of officers is coming up. Please come to our meetings and be a part of our programs. Once again, thanks to all.
