3 Principles of the CUP Mission Statement Provide an environment in our program that produces the best players in Ohio South, Region II, and the Nation. Players will be developed to compete at the highest levels of high school and college soccer. CUP is managed and coached by professionals who will provide the highest level of soccer development experience consistent with age appropriate expectations and commitment levels.

9 Age Group Structure Three high level teams will be developed - building ONE strong age group! All three coaches will work with all teams to develop the players to their fullest for the future. CU and CUP bring the best together - this age group will do just that!
10 Training Locations Outdoor Training and Game Locations Metalex Park Posey Hartman Complex Alternative synthetic high school fields throughout the area in February & March Indoor Training Locations Wall2Wall Gametime **Training locations may change based on field availability**
11 Training Format & Frequency Training Frequency 2-3 nights per week (usually 3 nights) Timeline Fall training begins following the summer camp and concludes in late October/early November Winter training provided and strongly encouraged Spring training begins in late February/early March and concludes in late May/early June Policy Regarding Participation in Other Sports Commitment levels at these ages established by the coach Most players at these ages participate in other sports, particularly in the winter and summer months Most teams at this age expect players to prioritize soccer during the fall and spring seasons
12 Goalkeeper Training Program CUP goalkeeper training is directed by our Director of Goalkeeping who has direct involvement on a regular basis with the CUP goalkeepers, specifically at U13-U18. Jim Adams; Former Professional Player, College All- American & National Champion, Former Professional Assistant Coach, Former Assistant College Coach Greg Deutsch; Former Professional Player, Former College Player, Former Professional Assistant Coach, USSF C License & NSCAA National Diploma CUP goalkeepers receive separate training commensurate with their abilities and CUP s expectations. Training is generally offered 1-2 times a week during the season
13 Competition (Leagues) The Premiere League The best U11-U13 league in the tri-state area. Clubs participating in the league include Carmel, Michigan Hawks, OP Eagles, Lexington FC, Javanon, Cleveland FC, and more BPYSL One of the best U11-U13 leagues in the tri-state area. CUSL The strongest local league in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas.
14 Competition (Events) CUP Strives to Bring the Best Competition to Us Cincinnati United Cup Elite Invitational All Other Tournament Travel Requirements Determined by Individual Teams
15 Travel Requirements (Outside of the Cincinnati/Dayton Area) League Play 1-2 times per season games may be played in Louisville, Columbus, Indianapolis, Cleveland Events The amount of travel required for league play will influence what tournaments each team will attend.
16 Summer Camp Dates & Time TBA It will probably begin around August 1 st. Camp fee included in club fee (more than $150 value)
17 Columbus Crew Affiliation The Columbus CREW selected Cincinnati United Premier to be it s Southern Ohio affiliate. Our CREW affiliation provides unique benefits for our CUP players. CREW staff including Robert Warzycha (Head Coach) and Brian Bliss (Technical Director) participate in CUP program development. CREW staff coaching for CUP girls and boys. Opportunity to participate in MLS Showcase tournaments and events exclusive to the MLS developmental programs.
18 Premier Program Fees What services are included in the Premier Program fee that are not included in the CU Program fee? Full time professional coaching and training Full time professional management Program specific goalkeeper training Training sessions with Columbus Crew coaches and players $453 (2011/2012 Club fees) + Tournaments Expenses; Referee Fees; Uniforms (nonrefundable) Note All player fees are based on a minimum roster of 12 players. Note Fees subject to annual adjustment
19 Premier Program Fee Schedule The fee payment schedule is posted in the resource center. Parents are responsible for keeping up with the payment schedule.
20 Volunteer Commitments Each team family will be required to volunteer for 8 hours per year. 21 Fundraising Kroger Cards The program will rebate money back to the team to be applied to the account. See your team admin for more details. Advertising Sales Opportunities will be made for rebates for the CU Challenge Cup through advertising sales Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities CU is currently developing guidelines that would allow teams to seek corporate sponsorship
22 Uniforms Full Mandatory Package - $ (as of 2010) Full Home Kit - $82.95 Full Away Kit - $75.45 Players will also purchase three training shirts - 1 for each day of training. 23 Proven Successes Overview Player Development Recognized as one of the top 21 clubs in the country and #2 in OSYSA (one point behind the OP Eagles), and #1 in the greater Cincinnati area based on development criteria women Since 2003, CUP has developed 170 female players to play collegiately, which is more than any other club in the greater Cincinnati area. Since the 2008/09 season, CU has placed more players on to the ODP Region II Teams than any club in the greater Cincinnati area. Since the 2008/09 season, CU placed more teams in the Ohio South (OSYSA) State Cup finals, Semifinals, and Quarterfinals than any other soccer club in Ohio South (OSYSA).
