3 The Final Fundraiser Totals Are In...we made a profit of $9,865.00!!!! WOW!! Thank you to everyone that participated and made this our BEST fundraiser yet!! Also, a special Thank You to the Schiller Family who made a gracious donation to the PTO!! Burr Service (Giving) Projects (continue) - This is a season of giving and our Student Council leaders have three opportunities for us to give back to our community. December 1st 19 th Student Council s Canned Food Drive (The food collected goes to Community Christian Church which provides us with Bulldog Backpacks filled with food for our families in need.) December 1 st 19 th Student Council s Hat and Mitten Tree (These items are used at Burr and given to Kiwanis) December 1 st 11 th Student Council s Toys 4 Tots Drive (We support Marines and their collection for needy kids) Lost and Found - Our Lost and Found is overflowing. If you are missing jackets, clothes, lunch boxes, etc., please check the Lost and Found. On December 22 nd, everything will be packed up and donated to a local organization. School Data Profile Parent Surveys As part of your School Data Profile/Analysis and School Improvement Plan every school is expected to gather perception data from their stakeholders. The parent survey has been created and are now available for your input. Please go to UCS Elementary Parent (K-6) and fill out the school survey. Remember parents and guardians are part of the learning process and your input is important to the school. Students will fill out the student survey during their Media Center time and teachers will do their survey at the December Data Team Meeting.
