2 OBJECTIVES According to the By-laws (Section 8, paragraph 1) of the Northeastern Province, there shall be a Province Historian who is a member of an alumni chapter of the Northeastern Province. It shall be his duty to compile historical and biographical materials of significance for the archives of the Northeastern Province. The events documented shall be the foundation for a recorded, bound and published History of the Northeastern Province.

3 SKILLS NEEDED The Province Historian must have the ability to gather, organize and document, historical information. The Province Historian must also develop a plan to disseminate this information throughout the Fraternity. Province web site On compact disk In soft copy, printed form.

4 RESOURCES NEEDED In order to accomplish this task, it is stated in the Constitution and Statutes of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Article XXIX, Section 1, One officer of each chapter shall be a Historian It is also stated in the Constitution and Statutes of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Article XXIX, Section 7 - the Chapter Historian shall collect, compile and preserve historical and biographical data for his chapter and submit such data when requested of him...
