First, we couldn t have had a successful first couple of seasons without your support and patronage and we can t thank you enough that you took a chance on a new service. Every year we read the customer feedback surveys that are filled out and the major complaint and/or suggestion this past year was that many of you wanted even more information and even more picks/plays. Now to be perfectly fair, we already feel that the Powers Picks newsletter is one of the more informative newsletters on the market today (it helps getting released later than most other major newsletters). The star-rated picks have hit a very solid 57% combined the last two years in CFB and the NFL (see page 6) and most importantly Powers Picks remains one of the lowest priced newsletters on the market! However, if you are one of those customers that wants more information and picks but can t afford the VIP packages, we think we have come up with a reasonable and cost-effective solution. Most of you gave great feedback on the Wise Guys Reports that were given out FREE at the end of last season and we have decided to turn that information into a weekly newsletter (see page 5 for more details). The cost is only $49 for the entire season and will be ed every Friday night. Also each of the last two years, VIP customers have been given a Sunday Night Owl update with early picks for the upcoming week s games. For the most part, these picks are trying to get ahead of expected major line moves and we ve received great feedback from our VIP customers with that update. However, this year we ve decided to expand that update even further and will also turn that information into a newsletter (see page 4 for more details). The cost is only $49 for the entire season and will be ed every Sunday night. With respect to our valued VIP customers, those of you looking for FCS picks (Small College) and Totals selections (OVER/UNDER individual games) which have had great success the past two years, those picks can ONLY be found in those VIP packages. Arizona Cardinals OVER 8 Wins (-140) at Bookmaker.eu Remarkably, the Cardinals were No. 1 in the NFL last season in yards per game differential as they out-gained their opponents by an average of 61.6 ypg. That typically equates to a team having 11 wins or so. However, the Cardinals only won 7 games a year ago and that gives us some value for the upcoming season. While the Cards are only favored in 8 games this year, 7 of their 8 underdog roles are by 3 points or less. We project that after losing 5 games by a TD or less in 2016, look for Arizona s fortunes to turn around in Los Angeles Chargers UNDER 7.5 Wins (-120) The Chargers are only favored in 5 games according to the early CG Technology lines (2 games are pick) and 4 of those 5 favorite roles are by 2 points or less. The Chargers play in one of the tougher divisions in the NFL with 3 legit playoff caliber franchises and also play the competitive NFC East division this year. The Chargers have a first time head coach and also have the distractions of moving their franchise to L.A. this year. Miami Dolphins UNDER 7.5 Wins (-120) The Dolphins surprised many last year by getting to 10 wins in the first year under head coach Adam Gase. However, they did it via Fool s Gold as they were out-gained by an average of 49.8 ypg. That would typically equate to a 6-10 type of season and the Dolphins still were outscored on the season despite their record. This year the Dolphins play one of the toughest schedules in the NFL as they pull the AFC West and NFC South. While they could be favored in as many as 8 games, 6 of their favorite roles are by a FG or less. 4. Cleveland Browns UNDER 4.5 Wins (-130) According to the early CG Technology lines, the Browns will most likely be an underdog in 15 of their 16 games this season (a home game vs the NY Jets is listed as pick-em). 14 of those underdog roles will be by more than a FG. While this franchise is certainly on the upswing and Cleveland will be improved this season, the Browns will have to pull 4 outright upsets as sizable underdogs to beat us with this bet. We ll gladly take our chances. 5. Seattle Seahawks OVER 10.5 Wins (-120) According to the early CG Technology lines, the Seahawks will most likely be favored in 13 of their 16 games this season with the NY Giants game also listed as pick-em.
