The NLI was more than a program. It gave me an opportunity to meet the leaders in the city, and understand all the economic development occurring. Vicky Maccaro, Bankwell As someone who has worked, but never lived in Norwalk, this group was an eye-opening experience as to how much is happening. This is a valuable experience for anyone who lives or works in Norwalk, to make great connections, and to learn a life lesson or two. John Forlivio, John M. Glover Agency This program was the most effective way to orient myself to this diverse city, establish a professional network and develop an understanding of the culture and business community as well as to further develop my own leadership style and skills. Lisa Harding, Maritime Aquarium of Norwalk The Norwalk Leadership Institute is a great way to get an indepth perspective on every facet of Norwalk. Our class project was a valuable learning experience too. Highly recommended. Cathy Lezon, Eversource I entered the NLI with little knowledge of this great city and community. I was truly taken away by the empowering workshops, tours, and overall exposure to the City of Norwalk that it provided.
