Benefits of training It enabled me to efficiently and sensitively manage a situation where a member of staff was off on long term absence due to workplace stress. The workshop gave me confidence and reassurance that I was managing with the situation correctly. When the member of staff returned to the workplace they thanked me for the way I had managed the situation and supported them through a difficult time. What I learned from the training programme was how to face up to the areas in my job (and in my personal life) which have been causing me the most stress. I then broke them down into components in order to isolate the key triggers and then reflected on how to deal with the core issues. This has resulted in a dramatic improvement in how I cope with my job and personal life and I no longer feel overwhelmed.
