VFMC & CABRINI COLLEGE GO RAFTING: Five of our College cadets accompanied by MAJ Zullo, attended a white water rafting trip to the Leigh River in the Poconos in October. The cadets had the chance to socialize with other students from Cabrini and spent four hours rafting on the whitewater. Upcoming collaborations with Cabrini will include skiing, hiking, and other outdoor adventure trips this spring.
We look forward to working more with Cabrini s recreation department to offer trips and experience for our College cadets. DID YOU KNOW? Did you know that there are scheduled, monthly classroom meetings in the Academy on the topic of bullying? Academic advisors and staff from all parts of the campus (including the President, Commandant, TAC officers, representatives from admissions, the health center, the counseling center, the business office and the financial aid office just to name a few) meet with cadets to discuss topics such as, bystanders, empowerment and being a victim. These conversations will continue monthly throughout the remainder of the academic year. Feel free to ask your cadet about these conversations.
