Education/Experience: BS Degree in Social Work (BSW) or other Human Services related field. Experience working in the human service or child support field. Experience working with the American Indian children and families. Experience in working with Tribal and/or District court systems. Experience in Microsoft Office applications. Duties/Responsibilities: Conducts in-office and telephone interviews with custodial and non-custodial parents. Performs buccal swabs for genetic testing when indicated for paternity establishment. Reviews child support cases and takes the next appropriate action on the cases in a timely manner in accordance with the LLBO CSEP Policy and Procedures Manual. Data Coordinator ~ Tribal Development ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: 18-102C Summary: The Data Coordinator is responsible for the directions of a comprehensive Band Wide population and service statistics research and projection program, which will serve as the official basis for Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe long-range planning. Education/Experience: Bachelor s Degree in Administration is preferred; 2 years A.A. or at least 2 years of experience in related fields will be considered as the minimum requirements. Duties/Responsibilities: Continuously gathers and develops demographic and service data within the Band. Designs and tests methods of research and data collection. Annually prepares population projections for the Band and its designated, divisions, agencies and other component units and periodically prepares projections for each political geographic division. YouthBuild Construction Trainer ~ Education ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: 18-080B BCA REQUIRED Summary: Assist in the daily operations of the program including supporting youth and facilitating coordination of the education, construction, case management, life skills, job placement and leadership components of the program to meet YouthBuild participant needs. Education/Experience: Minimum of three years professional journey level construction experience required. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and First Aid and CPR training preferred. Mental Health Clinical Trainee (2) ~ Human Services ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: 18-138 Summary: Will provide counseling services to American Indian adults, children, and families who reside on or near the Leech Lake Reservation. Services are based on individual, child, and family needs and are offered at varying levels of involvement, such as crisis intervention, individual and family counseling sessions, school based services, family and community support services, and mental health assessments. Education/Experience: Master Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field and on track for licensure as a Mental Health Professional. Licensed Graduate Social Worker (L.G.S.W.) or Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.) preferred. Duties/Responsibilities: Develops and implements Individual Treatment Plans (ITP) with clients according to the diagnostic assessment and mental health providers input. Completes psycho-social, functional, and behavioral assessments, to include a basic assessment of risk. Provide weekly individual and/or family therapy for clients. Provide therapeutic groups and activities as needed under the components of Children s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS). Mental Health Professional (2) ~ Human Services ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: 18-137 Summary: Responsible for providing direct mental health services, including psychotherapy, with an emphasis on individuals and families, using various treatment modalities and skills to produce social, psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Cass Lake Family Service Advocate ~ Education~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: 18-132 AND BCA REQUIRED Summary: Responsible for providing opportunities for parents to empower themselves to become self-sufficient by assessing their needs. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is required. Duties/Responsibilities: Be familiar with current Head Start Performance Standards and the Leech Lake Center Based licensing requirements. Utilize developmentally appropriate practices and guidance. Provide follow up surveys to consumers from crisis calls received to the crisis line and Leech Lake Behavioral Health. Follow up with all crisis contracted employees a minimum of one time per month.
