Claims Specialist ~ Finance ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: 18-018B Summary: Responsible for thoroughly investigating personal injury, auto, medical, property damage, and accident claims in coordination with insurance adjusters and third party administrators. Education/Experience: Requires a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting the Risk and Insurance Manager with the help of the Insurance Clerk. Manage the organization s claim submission, analysis, and completion process. Help determine whether organization liability exists and consult in-house legal as needed. Assure merited and unmerited claims are effectively managed. Maintain an excellent working relationship with organization s customers, employees, divisions, and outside insurance vendors.
