The Ambassadors played the Kwaj All-Star Celebrity team in a show basketball game, beating the locals 105-85, and tipping off a Labor Day weekend filled with live entertainment including a Labor Day Beach Bash. Keju and five other Ebeye officials received certificates and commander s coins. KPD officers were honored with certificates for their work, too.

Historic archaeological sitemi-kw- RN-048 has been determined to be potentially eligble for listing on the RMI National Register of Historic Places. Yokohama Pier with the RMI site no. MI-KW-RN-21 is listed on the RMI National Register of Historic Places. The proposed installation of a fuel dispensary will have no effect on the potentially eligble site, but will have an adverse effect on the listed historic property. Mitigation measures have been proposed and submitted to the RMI Advisory Council on Historic Preservation. All documents pertinent to the project are available at the USAKA Environmental office.
