Our Mission Genacta is a consumer directed in-home care service that is dedicated to the compassionate care of individuals with a wide range of challenges. From those needing minor support in daily tasks or escorting clients on outings, to full level supervised care in a monitored environment. Our Service Coordinators are dedicated to providing a specialized plan of care that takes into account the specific needs of each person to help ensure those needs are met. Our mission is to strive to improve the lives of the elderly and disabled as well as the families and loved ones that care for them.
Genacta In Home Care Genacta has been around for 15 years. We don t focus on advertisements, most of our advertisement is done by word of mouth. That is why we strive for such a high quality of care for our clients and their families. We offer services across the state, from north of Talkeetna all the way down to Homer and branching out to Juneau as well as Petersburg. Offices in three locations allow us to provide focused support to people in various communities.

Service Coordination Coordinating the care of a loved one is a time consuming and taxing job. Between the demands of daily life, jobs, and children, time is often stretched thin. Genacta can share a portion of that burden, aiding in the creation of a specialized plan of care that meets the specific requirements needed and finding caring, trustworthy caregivers to fulfil those requirements.
Services Offered Genacta offers a number of services to provide support for the elderly as well as those with mental and physical disabilities or chronic illnesses. We are devoted to ensuring that our clients and their families have the best possible care at a time that can be very stressful.
Services Offered PCA - Our PCAs take great care in the quality of service they provide and can assist in a number of tasks, from preparing meals and movement around the house to overseeing medication dosage, and travel to doctor s appointments if necessary. Chore If you or a loved one require assistance with household chores such as dusting, vacuuming, day-to-day cleaning than our chore services will be very useful. Our staff can help with some more difficult jobs as well such as window washing and bringing in firewood. Respite Caring for a disabled or elderly loved one can cause a great deal of stress and pressure on family members and caregivers. Our respite services offer a chance for everyone to take some time for themselves, caring for someone in need can be a demanding job. Our daily respite services allow a caregiver to provide respite services for 12 to 24 hours at a time
Services Offered Supported Living/In-Home Support At we understand the importance of maintaining independence in day to day life. Genacta can provide care in the client s home and work with clients on goal oriented activities unique to each individuals requirements. We also offer services for those under the age of 18. Day Habilitation Social interaction and activities outside of the home can teach valuable communication skills that will provide variety and can help build selfconfidence. Our staff can accompany clients on outings in the community, such as volunteer work or enjoying a sunny day at the park. Supported Employment Building basic jobs skills is one of the important values that our supported employment can teach our clients. The social interaction and personal growth provide the means to help people with disabilities become successful in their community.
Group Homes Group Home We offer a helping hand to assistant our clients in living as independently as possible. Our supervised group home environments provide the opportunity to learn life skills coupled with the supervised care that ensures they remain safe and healthy in a positive setting. Around the clock staffing and personalized care keeps the residents of our homes happy and comfortable. We have three group homes in the Valley; Eagle, Bear and Wolf. These group homes have 24 hour staff, including those that remain awake throughout the night. There are daily activities to engage the residents and group meals to help improve socialization. Day habilitation is also available, allowing the residents to spend time out in the community. We also have a Day Hab facility in Wasilla, complete with Foosball, Ping Pong, Arts & Crafts room, a Relaxation spot, Wii, and Kitchen.
Training Available CPR FA Training is available at our Wasilla office once a month through our certified CPR instructor. Come learn to save a life. We also offer a free 2-day MANDT training course. This class is focused on the skills needed to address volatile situations both physical and verbal, deescalate the conflict, and resolve the issue.
