Ministry of Home Affairs Disaster Management Division National Emergency Response Centre (NERC) **** Situation report on Heavy Rain fall in Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Nagaland and Punjab [As on 3 rd October 2018 at 1800 Hrs.] As per information received from SEOCs Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Nagaland and Punjab due to flood/heavy rainfall/ landslide the following damages have been reported during current monsoon season: 1. Himachal Pradesh: i. Rainfall = 00.00mm 06( Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Mandi, Shimla, Kullu) i No. of village effected 226 iv. Population effected 28,424 v. Human lives lost 48 vi. No. of missing 06 v No. of injured 06 (Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Mandi, Shimla) vi Houses damaged Fully 512, Partially 2956 Fully6, Partially 0 ix. Animal deaths 1276 x. No. of persons evacuated 4033 xi. No. of Relief camp opened x Inmates in relief camps xi Relief material distributed affected (in acres) xv. From 9 th August, 2018 to 21 st August, 2018, NDRF has rescued 535 persons, evacuated 25225 persons, retrieved dead bodies 10, rescued livestock 119 and medical assistance provided to 5562 persons.
