Prior to his role at Aspex, he spent six years as a senior executive in policy and planning as well as in an operational role as Regional Director for State Government. Peter s experience includes change management in politically sensitive environments together with extensive strategic planning and service development across a broad spectrum of health and human services. Darren has experience across a range of health care roles including clinical, evaluation and consulting positions spanning 25 years. In the past 15, he has specialised in policy and program evaluation at organisational, community, statewide and national levels. Darren has undertaken more than 80 competitively tendered evaluation studies, advised for over 200 government programs and presented at forums across the academic, public and private sectors. Peter has held senior management positions in Government, most recently at the Victorian Department of Health & Human Services. This experience included key accountabilities across service planning, asset investment, audit and risk management, policy review and program development. Peter has several years of consulting experience at Aspex and has led an extensive range of projects encompassing service planning, program review, workforce planning and strategy. Beth has wide-ranging experience in the health sector, having held senior management roles within both State and Federal Government. Prior to her time with the National Health Funding Body, Beth enjoyed 14 years at the Victorian Department of Health in various strategic finance and public policy roles. A Certified Practising Accountant, Beth also has experience in project development, management and delivery in Australia and the UK.

OUR TEAM OUR TEAM LEO CURRAN A N A L Y S T FELLICIA HAMBALI C O N S U L T A N T CHRISTOPHER SMITH C O N S U L T A N T SABRINA STOW C O N S U L T A N T Leo has worked for Aspex since its inception and has extensive experience with central agency and health service datasets. Projects to date include hospital service plans and reviews, program and funding reviews and area based population planning for a range of acute, sub-acute and community services including specialty services such as surgery and maternity. Leo has expertise in health service and catchment mapping, population analysis, demand modelling, utilisation and self-sufficiency analysis. Fellicia recently joined Aspex after more than six years working in the pharmaceutical healthcare industry. She has worked in the private hospital sector, aged care, as well as a major community pharmacy where she provided clinical leadership and managed a number of process improvement projects. Fellicia has a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons), an MBA and participated in the 2016 Global Business Challenge with a focus on sustainable healthcare in rural communities. Christopher has a broad understanding of the Australian health system including from a practical clinical perspective. Having completed undergraduate studies in Optometry and over 13 years experience in both independent and national corporate health practices, Christopher completed his Master of Business Administration with a Dean s Commendation. His breadth of skills is underpinned by strong research abilities and experience. With over 25 years experience in policy and strategic roles in Government and private consulting, Sabrina has a comprehensive background in health policy and project management. Her work includes both line and central agency experience, as well as an extensive understanding of intergovernmental relations. Sabrina s work during her tenure with the Department of Health ranged across a variety of areas including mental health, the private hospital industry, public health, pharmaceutical policy and strategic projects.

OUR TEAM OUR TEAM LARISSA FREEMAN C O N S U L T A N T DANNY MILLMAN A S S O C I A T E AMANDA SINGLETON A S S O C I A T E JIM SWINDEN A S S O C I A T E Larissa has over 15 years experience across the healthcare industry. She gained a solid grounding in healthcare management through projects at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Epworth Healthcare, Austin Health and the Department of Human Services, whilst completing her double Masters degree. Larissa studied Managing Health Care Delivery at Harvard Business School and was responsible for managing staff training for the e-health record implementation project at the prestigious Brigham and Women s hospital. Danny has extensive senior management experience in health care. During his time as Divisional Business Manager with Epworth Freemasons he was responsible for all nonclinical functions including finance, supply, IT, front-office, health information services, infrastructure and hospitality. Danny is a strategic thinker with a track record of getting results in challenging environments. He has led a number of significant management information system upgrades that have become major reference sites. Amanda has a diverse background in the delivery of health services in Victoria, working in private and public, rural and metropolitan health services. An experienced consultant, midwife and manager of maternity staff, her work has provided a solid grounding in business management in private and public health sectors. With a unique combination of technical, analytical and clinical understanding, Amanda has worked on a number of operational and financial reviews, service planning and quality initiatives. Jim co-founded Aspex in 2007 and has 39 years experience across the public hospital sector, the private sector and consulting. He has held a number of CEO roles including Freemasons Hospital and Gippsland Southern Health Service and is currently Chair of the Eastern Melbourne Primary Care Network. He is a former Director of the Australian Red Cross Blood Service and Peninsula Health. Jim has consulted on a wide range of projects encompassing service and strategic planning, financial modelling, policy development as well as reviews of operations, governance and model of care.

DR SHARON WILLCOX A S S O C I A T E Prior to establishing Health Policy Solutions in 2005, Sharon had over 25 years experience working in health public policy in senior roles in Government. Sharon s expertise includes health system reform, health financing and comparative health system analysis, and health services planning, pricing and funding frameworks. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, Monash University and co-author of 2015 textbook, The Australian Health Care System. DR FRAN WISE A S S O C I A T E Fran has spent over 25 years in the health care sector including clinical experience in a variety of rehabilitation areas. Currently a Senior Rehabilitation Physician, she has held a number of senior positions across both private and public hospital settings, and plays a major role in the research activities of her unit.
