A HERITAGE BRAND NAME A name that is instrumental in the physical and economic transformation of Singapore, Greatearth has built condominiums for families, hotels and office complexes for businesses, schools and universities for education, healthcare and transport infrastructure for enhancing the standard of living, as well as country clubs and shopping malls for tourism and recreation. Greatearth started as a builder specialising in civil engineering and general building work. In 1990, it was acquired by and integrated into the engineering and construction arm of the diversified United Engineers Limited ( UEL ), which was well known for being an engineering contractor to many East Asian governments and municipalities as early as in the 1930s. Greatearth leveraged on the strengths and legacy of UEL to continue shaping the Singapore cityscape across decades. By the turn of the new century, Greatearth had developed and built a record number of condominiums as well as constructed high-profile, mega projects. They include the mixed-use development at one-north comprising Rochester Mall, The Rochester (condominium) and Park Avenue Rochester (hotel and serviced suites), as well as the mixed-use development UE BizHub EAST at Changi Business Park comprising Park Avenue Changi (hotel and serviced suites), Changi Link (mall) and office space. It also contributed to other iconic landmarks such as orchardgateway, Marina Bay Sands (hotel), Nanyang Technological University Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, as well as Singapore University of Technology and Design. In 2011, Greatearth (then known as UE E&C Ltd.) was listed on the Mainboard of the SGX-ST with $65 million net profit on the back of $371 million in revenue. It was eventually separated from UEL, privatised and renamed Greatearth Pte Ltd in 2015. This marks a new era of growth and transformation for Greatearth which becomes an independent company with accumulated capabilities and a world of new avenues.

ENGINEERING ENGINEERING BETTER SKYSCRAPERS AND CITIES UG M&E Pte Ltd ( UG M&E, formerly known as United Engineers (Singapore) Private Limited) is the principal Engineering subsidiary of Greatearth and is one of the most established brand names in its field. With expertise in electrical systems, fire protection & alarm systems, as well as ACMV (Air-conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) systems, UG M&E has a strong track record that includes some of Singapore s most definitive landmarks such as Marina Bay Sands (hotel), orchardgateway and National Library (Bras Basah). UG M&E has the highest L6 BCA Grades in both the ME01 (Air-conditioning, Refrigeration & Ventilation Works) and ME05 (Electrical Engineering) workheads. It has also attained the L5 BCA Grade in ME06 (Fire Prevention & Protection Systems) workhead. In addition, Greatearth provides specialty services in foundation, soil improvement and geo-technical works via Greatearth APG Sdn Bhd.
CONSTRUCTION BUILDING CITY SKYLINES Greatearth Construction Pte Ltd ( Greatearth Construction ), one of the principal Construction subsidiaries of Greatearth, started as a general builder and is one of the most recognisable brand names in the industry today. With a wide spectrum of construction services ranging from design-and-build services to civil works, Greatearth Construction s capabilities span the residential, industrial, commercial and institutional sectors. Greatearth Construction has attained the highest A1 BCA Grades for both the CW01 (General Building) and CW02 (Civil Engineering) workheads. Greatearth s Construction subsidiary in Brunei, Greatearth (B) Sdn Bhd, also has an extensive track record in housing and infrastructure projects. Registered with a Class VI Contractor s licence, it is qualified to tender for projects with unlimited contract value in Brunei. To complement its building services, Greatearth also supplies flooring tiles, natural and engineered stones, as well as sanitary wares and fittings for residential and commercial usage via Universal Building Products Pte Ltd.
