We are free to listen to the music we like, free to go to the church we want, and free to express our opinion in the press. The list goes on and on. But are those rights really free? If you think about it, they are not. Those rights were bought for us by very brave men and women who stood up and fought for the ideals of America.

Slide 5 Air Force Army Coast Guard Marines National Guard Navy 5 Men and women in our armed forces make it the land of the free and the home of the brave. Do you know anyone who has served or is currently serving in the Air Force? Army? Coast Guard? Marines? National Guard? Navy?
Slide 6 Who do our military forces turn to when they need help? 6 Military personnel are on call 24/7 to serve this country. They are real people with real lives and just like regular citizens, they can have real world problems and concerns. But where do they go for help?
Slide 7 The American Legion Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) United States Department of Veterans Affairs 7 There are many groups that help meet the needs of past and current members of the military. Some of these groups meet the direct needs of the veteran and some meet the needs of the veteran s family. Do you know of any other dependable and reliable organizations in our community that will assist veterans?
Slide 8 How can we serve Those who Serve? 8 When we serve our military - those who serve - we are saying thank you for the daily sacrifices they make for each of us.
