Homan Ave., Parking Lot Nichols Tower The School of the Art Institute of Chicago together with members of the North Lawndale community will plant trees and place stones for the reforestation of North Lawndale. The day will begin with artist Pedro Reyes overseeing the production of his work Palas por Pistolas (Shovels from Pistols), repurposing weapon waste into shovel heads.
