GENERAL INFORMATION The event will start on Sunday November 17, 2013 with a welcome reception and will end on Friday November 22 with an optional facility tour. The symposium will consist of plenary sessions with invited and selected presentations. We are calling for scientific contributions to be selected for oral presentations in the plenary sessions. Poster sessions are also being considered. Besides the selected oral presentations, a Three-Minute-Talk of every poster will be provided in plenary sessions. We are also considering a public session titled by Cosmos and Element Genesis as a regular plenary session. Symposium Venue The symposium will take place at International Congress Center EPOCHAL TSUKUBA, which is located near TX Tsukuba Station. (http://www.epochal.or.jp/eng/index.html) How to access (including the access from main air terminals) can be found in the website, e.g. please see http://www.epochal.or.jp/eng/access/index.html. For hotel information in the vicinity, please visit http://www.epochal.or.jp/eng/hotels/hotel_list.html. Registration Fees The fees cover the on-line issue of proceedings (open access), banquet, and refreshment during the symposium. The symposium fees are: --Regular participant: 20,000 --Student participant: 10,000 -- Accompanying person: 5,000 (for banquet) The fees can be paid at the registration desk in cash only. The registration desk will open at EPOCHAL TSUKUBA during the symposium. Option: Those who want to participate in the facility tour (JAXA, J-PARC) (one-day after closing symposium: 9:30-18:00 on Nov. 22) have to pay additional 2,000 (including lunch). The J-PARC tour could be replaced by other options, depending on the future measure on the accident of leak of radioactive material at the Hadron Experimental Facility, J-PARC.
Registration and Abstract Submission of Contributed Papers We kindly ask you to register yourself as a regular participant or as a student participant before submitting an abstract. The registration and abstract submission can be done at the symposium website (http://kekrnb.kek.jp/omeg12/) by following procedures; 1. First, click Indico (Abstract Submission/Registration) on the symposium website. If you are prompted by a warning related to website security, please continue your access. 2. Account acquisition: For your registration and abstract submission, you have to create a new account. If you click Registration Form in the registration field or Submit a new abstract in the Call-for-Abstracts field, you are asked to enter username/password. If you have already an account, you can login to Indico for further processes. If you don t have an account, you have to proceed for creating a new Indico account. After filling in the prompted application form, please press confirm button, then you will get a returned e-mail to announce the activation of your account. Once your account is activated, you can go to the next step. 3. Next, click Registration Form in the Registration field and enter your information for your registration after login to your account. 4. For the abstract submission, click Submit a new abstract in the Call-for-Abstracts field and press summit button after filling in the information required on the promoted page. The status of your submission can be traced and general information on the scientific program will be posted in the Indico. ======================================== List of Invited Speakers Suggested by the corresponding symposium committee, about 30 speakers will be invited for the plenary sessions. The list of the speakers will be posted on the symposium website shortly. Reception and Banquet All participants are invited to a reception which will be held in the evening of Nov. 17 (one day before the symposium opening day).
