3 P.M. ACADEMIC CONVOCATION CEREMONY Academic Convocation is a Salve Regina tradition that welcomes you into our academic community. Hear from members of our campus and local community. All new students will process into the tent as part of the ceremony and are encouraged to dress business casual. Flat footwear is recommended. 5 P.M. MAJOR MEET AND GREET Meet with faculty and fellow students from your major/department to learn more about the academic journey ahead. Locations will be provided by your FYT mentor. 6-9 P.M. Ellucian Go App Salve Regina s Office of Information Technology has introduced the Ellucian GO mobile app for Apple and Android devices, which provides interactive functionality with My Information and My Salve components. The new mobile application contains features such as Search for Sections, My Grades, My Notifications and My Courses. Students can also sync course schedules to their calendars. Instructions To download the app, students can visit their phone s app store and download the Ellucian GO application. Once the app is downloaded, open the app and select Salve Regina University from the menu or type Salve Regina University into the search tool, to download and display the configuration. At the bottom of the app click Sign In. Students should use their My Salve login to authenticate, as this allows the app to provide information specific to each user. My Grades and My Courses provide course information, including times, and building information, which interfaces with the campus map for directions. Search For Sections allows for browsing classes, as well as adding them to a cart and ultimately registering. For more information, contact the Help Desk at (401) 341-7777 or helpdesk@salve.edu. Seahawk Connection During Explorientation Students will use Seahawk Connection to track their progress and completion of the Explorientation program. 1. Check in with your Student I.D. at all Explorientation events. 2. Log on to https://salve.campuslabs.com/engage/ with your Salve username and password. 3. Click on "Paths" then "Explorientation 2017" All events that you have attended and swiped into should show with a check mark. If an event does not show up please allow up to 24 hours for the system to update. After that time if the event does not show please e-mail studentactivities@salve.edu

Introduce yourself well share your name, major, and one sentence describing your interest in working this semester. Remember to SMILE! This will help the supervisors remember YOU. Ask questions so you can better understand the type of student and skills each department is looking for and determine if it s the right job for you!
