Autobiography required as well as a 1,200 to 15,000 word essay about the impact Alzheimer's disease on your life. First prize is an annual $5,000 scholarship, a $2,500 scholarship awarded to 1st runner up and a $500 scholarship for the second runner up. www.afateens.org $500 to $5,000 3/6/2017 Hood Sportsmanship Scholarship High school senors who participated in a varsity level sport, planning to further their education at a 2 or 4 year college or university. Must have earned a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher and performed volunteer work in the community. A short essay is required. Goodwin Memorial Scholarsh Open to CT residents who are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in silviculture or forest resource management. Award based on financial need.
