2 Trivia Whiz Monthly Resident Meeting Our Resident Meeting will be held on the second Monday of every month in the Dining Room. The head of each department will be in attendance to receive feedback. We look forward to seeing you this month on December 11th at 2:15 p.m. Personal Transportation Transportation for appointments and/or errands is available Monday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Remember, your destination must be within a 10-mile radius of our building. Starting December 5th, Pam, a qualified fitness professional with SydFit, will lead residents in a Cardio Strength Exercise Class. The class will be held every Monday at 1:15 p.m. in the movie room. We are so excited to introduce our residents to this wonderful fitness program. ENJOY!! Hot Cocoa and Health A cup or two of cocoa each day may do more than ward off a chill. Cocoa is rich in antioxidants, potassium, iron and other nutrients. Hot chocolate is also chock-full of flavonoids, powerful compounds that are being studied for their link to fighting cancer, preventing stroke and delaying dementia and other cognitive problems. Front Entrance Circle Drive This is for pickups and drop-offs only. Emergency medical vehicles must have access to our building in the event of an emergency. Save the Date Resident Holiday Party & Holiday Hope Our annual resident Holiday Party will be held on December 15th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Join us for live entertainment, delicious hors d oeuvres, beverages and holiday fun. Family and friends are welcome! The American House Foundation will be adopting 1,000 seniors this holiday season, and we are asking for your support in making their holiday special. Bulbs will be available for donations at various amounts. Please RSVP with the front office by December 9th to let us know you are attending.

Biersuppe in German. One cup of eggnog contains 342 calories, 34 grams of carbohydrates and 19 grams of fat. The main ingredients of eggnog are: cream, milk, eggs (pasteurized eggs are the safest the only kind used at American House), sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and alcohol, if you choose.
