ISSUE 54 Food Science Students Shine!! Yen-Ping Tan, an undergraduate student, was a recipient of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Junior/Senior Scholarship (2006-2007). She was also a recipient of the 2006 Tiger Athletic Scholarship, LSU College of Agriculture. Dairy Science Students Shine!! National Dairy Products Evaluation Contest, October 2006, Chicago IL. Abby Greenbaum, Ashley Pastorek, and Pamela Shao, represented LSU in the team competition. As a team, LSU placed 4th in yogurt and 7th overall out of 18 teams.
