Other things that we have in the planning stages and that you will hear more about as they are finalized include: participation in the Musselman weekend events, possibly participation in the NAS- CAR weekend at Watkins Glen, the return of the Italian Open Charity Golf Tournament, a Sports Night, our annual Summer Festival, summer Bocce Tournaments and Steak Nights. Thank you to everyone who turned out for the Installation Ceremony, which featured our Council and the GAIL Council being sworn in together. Special thanks to State Deputy Jill Kaim and State Trustee Tony DiCostanzo for officiating at the ceremony. A great crowd was on hand that night. After the ceremony, a buffet dinner was enjoyed that was prepared by Rich Evangelista, Tom DiCostanzo and the kitchen staff, along with desserts that were provided by the GAIL Lodge.

La Gazzetta page 4 GAIL Lodge 2397A -- Congratulations to newly installed President Cindy Durso-Woodhams, Vice President Lisa Toole- Petronio, Immediate Past President Phyllis Lowery and their exceptional Council. Geneva Lodge 2397 Council - 2014 to 2015 The GAIL are hosting a Pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, April 27, at the Lodge. Adults, $6; children 5-12, $3; 4-and-under, free. Our support of GAIL events also helps our Geneva Lodge. We hope to see many of our members stop in for breakfast. Bingo -- GAIL Lodge 2397A Council - 2014 to 2015 Summer Festival 2014 Much discussion has been held on the merits and negatives of hosting our annual festival again in 2014. A decision has been made to proceed with planning for a festival in 2014. Tentative dates for our festival have been set for the weekend of August 1 and 2. More details to follow in the coming months. Each member probably has an opinion or idea on how to make this next festival a success. You re encouraged to come to an assembly meeting or email us to share your thoughts. ONLY OUR MEMBERS can really be the key component of whether or not we are successful in any and all events that we plan. We need help. Currently, there are four teams that work Sunday Bingo on a rotating basis. A couple of those teams need additional helpers, and we also would like to form two new teams, so that there are six in the rotation. With six solid teams, it would mean just 8-9 Sundays per YEAR to work, so please consider volunteering for this worthwhile cause that helps us pay our bills in an enormous way. Call President Cutillo for more information or if you are interested, 315-398-1351.
