If it s within the Geneva Area School District and during our working hours (M F, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), we ll do our best to get you there at no cost to you. Please give us a twoday notice, but if something comes up unexpectedly, call us and we ll try to accommodate. Our bus and vans are wheelchair accessible. Call: 466-3048 ext. 2. PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE The Geneva Senior Center has saved seniors almost a Million dollars in free or discounted prescriptions since 2004. To see if you qualify or to schedule an appointment call: 466-7405 or 466-3048 ext. 3 MEDICAL ASSESSMENT We provide free blood pressure checks and blood sugar tests in the Community Center hall on the following days and times: Blood Pressure First Thursday 11:30 a.m. Third Wednesday 10:00 a.m. 12 p.m. Wednesdays 1:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. Sugar Testing First Thursday 11:30 a.m. Check our calendar for occasional hearing and balance tests. COPY AND FAX This is free service for a few items. If you have many, we ask for a small donation to help cover our costs. HANDYMAN HELP Need help changing a light bulb or have a leaky faucet? Call us. We ll try to find help for little or no cost to you. Dial 2-1-1 for general assistance. They will answer 24/7 every day of the year and connect you to the right agency.

We re a musical group that brings laughter to community events and area nursing homes. Barb Taft and Eloise Lowrie head up the band. Call us to join. BOCCE BALL Mondays, 11:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. by the Pavilion. CORNHOLE Mondays, 12:30 p.m. 1:30 p.m. in the Kirchner Room. Increase your hand-eye coordination and have fun cheering on your team. BINGO Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. 2 p.m. in the Kirchner Room. Tuesday is Progressive Bingo with an admission of 25 cents. BILLARDS Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. 1 p.m. at the Satellite Center. Enjoy good-natured competition (no betting allowed). Chalk up your cue stick (provided) and have fun! PACE EXERCISE GROUP Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. in the Hall. Low-impact exercising. Your instructor is Ruth Bogue. WALKABOUT Wednesdays, 10 a.m. 12 p.m. Join us and walk at your own pace at the paths of the Geneva Lodge, the Spire Institute and other places. PINOCHLE Wednesdays, 12 p.m. 2 p.m. in the Recreation Rm. (And most other days and times.) The Pinochle Tournament is on the first Wednesday of the month. SEWING GROUP Fridays, 10 a.m. 12 p.m. at the Satellite Center. Share, teach and learn sewing skills with fellow seniors. We have sewing machines and material to get you started. CRAFTS Fridays, 10 a.m. 12 p.m. at the Satellite Center. Learn how to create and develop new and exciting craft items.
